[SPOILERS] Serdoa, Ichabod and Ex-Girlfriends - co-starring NH,Bigger and Lewwyn

Seems so, though he logged in an hour before it crashed according to civstats, so maybe it is unrelated. In any case, I guess now come the thanksgiving-pauses? Can never remember when that is.

Thanksgiving in America isn't for another three weeks. Thanksgiving in Canada has passed. I am not sure how Europeans celebrate Thanksgiving. lol

Edit: mh just posted in PB13 about disconnecting, so it looks like sunrise's server crashed only just now.

Ah ok. Well Gavagai played his turn this turn. I won't before this afternoon. So turn rolls most likely sometimes evening. Then we all play and Gavagai can play Tuesday around noon when he is back. So we shouldn't actually have a delay in turns with some luck.

We're swapping to Merc, Caste and Pacifism for the GA right? To generate two GPs.

BaII took the peace deal. He should evacuate and attack Jowy, clearly. wink

Oh man, I just realized that BaII taking the peace deal means we lose the war weariness during the GA. And it'll decay ~10% in ten turns. That's awesome.

Okay, I went ahead and swapped the civics so that I could look at the cities. Some interesting stuff there. First thing is, Pacifism is only 2g more expensive than OR, so no big deal there.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like Birgit is going to be able to pop a GP this GA even with starvation unless I've estimated incorrectly. And I don't think it'll be close enough that we'll be able to finish the GP shortly after the GA. We'll be missing like 200 points which is still a lot of turns. So I think we maximize GPP in Birgit this GA and then finish it next GA, that's probably the best we can do. We do have enough food there to support quite a few specialists but there aren't enough slots. So we could still pop a GP out of there in the not too distant future if we decide to delay the next GA for whatever reason.

If that's the case, then we should work more of the good tiles in Pamela since we have 7t to pop the GP there. We don't want to pop the GP early and then work crappier tiles in the later turns while skipping the better tiles in the earlier turns.

Oh and we can do RP in 3t and Rifling in 4t.

Cool. On T158 we estimated 17t without GA. Seems that will just be 10 turns after all. So we'll get Rifling in the GA, swap into Nat at the end of the GA and draft us 20 Rifles. We can draft 4 per turn so that's 5 turns and 3/4s of our cities hit once (well, not really, a few are too small but you get the idea). Might be that 10 or 15 Rifles together with our 15 Knights are actually enough.

Ok, few points to changes I've done:

1. Dyrone (needs a new name): Swapped Coast to Mined PH. Loses 2f,3c gains 5h. Swapped Engineer to Artist. Swapped build from walls to culture. That way we get 15 cpt this turn and pop borders immediately. We will have a hard time to take any of his tiles, but we need to pop our borders outwards at least imo.

Also I'm not sure why we want to build walls there? Do you think he will retake it at the first turn of the next war? And if so what are our countermeasures besides building walls?

2. We can cancel the Stone for Marble deal with Jowy already. I haven't now because I have not checked if we need the Marble for something else maybe (NE?).

3. I assume we'll send the 2 Knights on the boat into Dyrone as Garrison?

4. Haven't ended turn, still few units unmoved and cities not checked for. I'm late so I'll do that when I'm back home in around 8-9 hours.

1349 (1033) - 561

That's the GNP-figures at 100% and 0% and the rival best. We also have around 100 food more than the next best and 50 MfG (which is also inflated by slow being also in a GA).

3rd highest soldiers, 1st in Land and ... surprisingly for me only 3rd in pop. Someone grew his cities larger than we did. Well, we whipped a few very hard for the war and just in numbers we gained less in the war than it cost us. Of course you can't put in numbers the added security we gained by taking BaII mostly out.

We should keep the marble trade...need it badly for NE yes. More later.
