I had a brief look in game, but have not even come close to playing the turn yet. I'll do that after work.

Sure, if we don't have a desperate need for more military (and I don't think we do).
Quote:Also, are we going to have our own marble in time for the NE, or do I need to start begging around for some?
We need it from elsewhere; Kyan has said he can lend us his.
Maniac Marshall Wrote:Mali is very heavily suggesting we need to switch everything over to military production virtually instantly. They seem to think they are about to get their asses handed to them, and that the army will then turn around and immediately attack us. He suggests we use HR and Nationhood as end stage civics and draft the hell out of everywhere.
I really think he's panicking overly much, but we'll see. I agree.
Quote:Meanwhile, I had been talking to Inca about a NAP before leaving for the wedding... seeing the size of that stack of units... I've gone ahead and sent them an offer of a NAP. Better safe than sorry I think.
We should post the picture you're referring to when we can. I'm honestly not that impressed with the stack if that's all there is.

Ah (to the can't log in.) Well, We have the marble now. Nothing exciting happened.
Byz is now tied for #1 in the world in cities, believe it or not, and they needed a settler from us... yeah. honestly, would have been better for BOTH of us if he'd asked for 2 workers I think.
Down to 480 beakers after whipping FS and Ornata for the Hindu temple (was an exact whip on the temple, and with Aztec culture encroaching our 2nd ring there I figured we'd better), and not using the gold at Ornata this turn.
When you can log in again, take a look at what slice of land remains for us to settle in the crescent area from Adventure Beach to where our boarders meet Carthage and see if you can suggest a better dotmap than the one I have signed. Otherwise, I think we're good till tomorrow night. Nice to have a nice, un drama filled day for a change. Well, the douchebag that is Brandon Phillips notwithstanding.
Oh, unless there is a race situation, which I cannot imagine (maybe for the biology filler city?) I expect the only city left we want to settle before State Property (at least as any sort of priority) would be (Ref)Steel Claws either where signed, or at an appropriate other location if you prefer, though, I think you are the one who suggested the current location.
Going to go on to bed early tonite. Have a good evening if you see this.

Potential issue with the final piece of the HV globe plan: Swiss should have steel before you have scheduled the final catapult. We can, of course, decline the tech till afterward if required.
Turn 147 played. Started a Library in Ornata as Ruff's culture is encroaching a good bit on it. Two 2nd ring tiles are 1/3 his from 3rd ring culture. Would it be worth building a monument there while we still can?
Oh, and after all that work at Savannah, Mali built Sistine, so we're almost certinally screwed on keeping the wheat.

If you could post the exact percentages of culture the game reports on contested tiles each turn, and the number of culture "in" each of Savannah, Ornata, and (later) Adventure Beach on the turn in question, we will be able to assess the culture needs precisely.

Savannah - 53/46 or 47. I think its 46. We make 5cpt, they make 6.
vs Ruff iirc its 67/33 not sure on the cpt, will check when i get home. this one is obv less of an issue.

Are you sure Ruby Tuesday is making 6cpt, or inferring?
