Really quickly because it's late:
1) Thanks very much for the kind words. I really enjoy playing on your team too - if I didn't, I'd have quit this game ages ago. If there's anyone else here I'd rather have on my team for a game like this, I don't know who it is.
2) Don't be so hard on yourself about making a mistake here or there, whether in-game or out-of-game.
3a) Yes, I can log into the game and turnplay. I won't do much diplo, but I can probably cover the absolute necessities. Yes, without wrecking my life. BUT
3b) If at some point the choice IS between you cratering your life to log into the game and/or do diplo, or me cratering my life to log into the game and/or do diplo, the choice should NOT be for you to crater your life: The choice should be to crater the game if needed.
Anyway, I've tentatively updated the worker plan. This delays a lumbermill by a turn at Kilrah (which has enough good tiles for the moment anyway) but speeds up the watermill at Savannah (which would otherwise be working an unimproved river grassland). I think it also makes it easier to queue the worker actions if needed, although I may just be confused.

I won't be around much in the next few days (I can log in to play the turns assuming any turns actually roll, but not much more) but would be happy to discuss it by e-mail or here (or chat if we happen to be online at the same time, but that's unlikely considering what my schedule looks like for the next few days).

While waiting for my gf to get ready to leave the hotel, I logged in and had a look around.
Another tile that needs attention is the plains hill at FS, which finally needs a mine. FS is going to grow again next turn, and, if possible, I'd like to work off some of it's 27 turns of whip anger and build the Uni naturally. Not saying run down and mine that hill, now. The 2 observations are seperate. We won't be building Oxford in the next few turns, and now's a good time imo.
I see you had marie WM. That's probably a good choice, although, I thought after the fact that you can't mill both sides of the river, so a cottage straight E of it would be ok. A farm there would also probably be ok. I hope I haven't erred by suggesting we don't make (m)any more cottages, but considering we're looking at being able to afford 5 techers after SP, and we've pretty much locked things in for the next 50 turns... The mills will be a good source of coin after electricity, so I think it was a good call.
Feel free to override the builds at Ornata or RD.

The test I made wasn't perfect (I'll look at it again before playing the turn if I need to do so - I should be able to play tonight) but in principle it should be possible to have Watermills on both of those tiles: The one on Marie's tile is allowed by the river north of the tile, while the one on the tile 1E gets applied to the river in between the two.

It's fine, and Savannah could use the production. I'd actually like to cottage some river PLAINS tiles at Temminck soon, but that's because it a) has the food to support them and b) will then be an even-more-insane Oxford city.
Yes, I saw Ruff's message. I told Ragnar about it too, and he made a speech.

With our allies tying up the Cuddly forces around the rest of the globe, we'll be happy to mop the floor with whatever they do bring! Arrrrrrr! Personally, I don't expect an attack, but if one came, it would be amusing. I just hope Morgan's back by the time (and if) one does come, as there's no way I'm going to have time to move around all those units. (Although at the rate this game is going, turn 162 might not come until October anyway.)
Also, in the Me Being Wrong department, we actually don't get to fire that grocer as soon as I thought. Although if we want more hammers, we can always turn one of them into a priest....
Oh, and: I was thinking about that plains hill too. We should be able to get to it soonish (I think). There's also something to be said for watermilling that jungle tile, especially if we declare Temminck our Oxford city.

Can you play THIS turn. I just got home and am really groggy. I slept the entire 4 hour trip home. If not I'll try to get up early in the morning.

Okay, I'm modifying the worker plan because a more in-depth sandbox test indicates the game's watermill system is incredibly loony. We *can* watermill both tiles, but only if we START with the eastern tile.
Also, since I'm playing the turn:

Also, good news: If we lose a city or the game because we fell one unit short, it's not actually our fault!
We apparently do not have any hammers in a Cavalry (originally put into a Cuirassier) at Hukawng Valley, because this game hates things it can't pronounce. We should never have called that city Hukawng Valley - my fault. (On a more serious note, I should have made sure the hammers were in the cav last turn. I should know better than to assume that this game will actually work correctly at HV.) (Before you try to take the blame, Maniac: Don't. It's not your fault.)
This means Globe will be delayed unless we go so far as to actually whip IT, with the wonder penalty. We could do so on turn 157 and still be able to draft the following turn. We still end up with one less Cav, of course, but those are the breaks. Alternatively, we could whip another cav and wind up getting the Globe two turns later (on T160). We'll also be unhappy at HV for 2-3 turns but I don't think that can be helped.

Since I logged in and played the turn, I may as well include a picture.
That's probably Ruff's main stack so far. (On the hill just north of the corn). You can see two more just-drafted rifles (one in the city, one all the way to the west) on their way to the general area; there's another southwest of the picture, out of sight.
Oh, and Worker Plan updated. We're letting Savannah work unimproved grassland for a couple turns because it should make basically zero difference, and the lumbermill will probably be wanted soon after all.
Oh, right, and Spreadsheet post updated for HV. It assumes we're willing to delay Globe 2 turns for a cav, but if we'd rather whip the globe itself, we'd follow basically the same plan for now.

I've marked some tiles for roading. It's imperative these tiles be roaded by turn 160.
We're going to mess up all your plans, because we're going GA within 3 turns. I HOPE we don't have to wait till turn 155, but it depends. Currently Communisim isn't due till T162, and we wouldn't be able to revolt to SP as the GA ends if we don't wait till then.
I'm pushing for a tech swap between Carthage and Mali that would hopefully speed up this process and let us revolt either next turn or the turn after.
We won't have Rep then, so we'll have to revolt to HR/Nationalism/FM/Theo.
Eight turns later, on our last turn of GA, we can revolt to Rep/Nationalism/SP/??
I know this will hurt our teching, but it can't be helped. Dying will hurt our teching a lot more. Besides, we're going to lose our "frontrunner" designation soon anyway, as Mali is almost sure to get SoL. Think what 10 free rep scientists will do to their tech rate, especially if they are able to stay in Beaurocracy vs us in Nationalism. This might not be a bad thing, however, as I'm getting tired of being pecieved as the civ everyone must stop. Maybe when the next shift comes, that will work in our favor.
