Something that no one seems to be considering is the possiblity of Ilios' worldspell, Religious Fervor, to help bail him out of the dogpile attempt. A free Priest in every city ought to really help if his own military buildup turns out not to be enough. Moreso if he gets FoL everywhere, but even Priests of Kilmorph ought to pack a punch against a mostly warrior army.
That said, I bet Ilios would prefer to save it, if possible, until it helps with getting him a bunch of high priests, so he may try to fight off the attack without it.

So what do we think? Should Serdoa flip Ilios's city? He definitely could move into the city, flip it, and then get out. They don't have open borders so Ilios's warriors would get teleported out, and they'd only be able to retake the city 1.5 turns later. He definitely can't hold it though, so I doubt he'd do it. Plus it would annoy Ilios and likely cause him to make more military.

Since the city hasn't grown, it would just autoraze if Ilios retakes it, right? That seems like a pretty sweet deal for Serdoa. I don't buy that Ilios would make more military because of Loki.

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure you don't lose a pop if you retake a city that was originally yours...although wait. It might not count as a "liberation" since Serdoa would have more culture in the city.
I'm not sure about the city capture rules in FFH2, actually. I recall seeing size 1 cities not getting razed.

Hmm. It seems Serdoa is treating the Loki flip as a normal culture flip, and assuming he gets an option to disband it if he so chose. Not sure about this, Darrell said in his thread that the flipped city doesn't get a garrison like a normal flip.
Either way though, I'd say it's safe to say Ilios will be building more military than he would have before.

Yup I think in hindsight this may have been a bad move, as he seems to be consider building up troops more than he was now

Amelia just conceded a...five flood plain + incense site next to her capital for a far away site that Ilios couldn't take anyway? What?

Reasoning being that in the dog-pile she gets that city free. Now I don't know how joined-up the reasoning is but if they are trying to ensure that there is no suspicion from Ilios, then recent activities are pretty baffling.

Not sure why neither uberfish nor Mist seem to have considered the possibility that the seriously injured spider may lose to the wolf. The wolf will be on the desert for a severe penalty and has a much lower base strength, but one or two hits will kill the spider most likely. I'd keep the bear in the area and attack the wolf with it first, it's HN too anyway. The spider can pick up the pieces afterwards (pun accidental, but amusing now that I notice). The bear could also be used to block/scare off the pursuing dwarves to buy time for the spider to heal or whatever.

Per the screenshot after it was captured, the spider had 1.5 (out of 5) health, C3 and a first strike. The wolf should have 1.6 (2/1.25) adjusted strength on desert. The spider should win, but it would be safer to just transfer the piece and delete the wolf.
Meanwhile, the Calabim settling map indicates they want to capture Straatus, and they don't even know about the Death node yet! I strongly doubt they'll give the node up after they discover it, and uberfish won't let them have it for obvious reasons. uberfish's Yonna could try to contest it culturally, but regardless this would come to blows... Unless the Illos war keeps the Calabim too busy to follow through (but they aren't direct neighboures, so it shouldn't).
