I don't think it was allow them to look at spoilers. I think it was something a little less fun than that. You're more than allowed to look when all of the other players are, after the game is over. 
Sounds good to me. So music man, go ahead and start thinking about a civil and lleader in case zero doesn't show up. Just see the post I made talking to zero for rules regarding who you can pick.
I say that once we know that music or zero is for sure playing one of us should PM Serdoa to make sure he knows what's up.
Haven't started work yet so no problem (apart from me having to think about a new map concept
 ). Just make sure please that you get all rules + the picks in one post, so I don't need to search the thread for it or guess what you wanted.Oh, btw: I think you haven't talked about size of the map. Should you all have enough place for approx. 6 12 18 24 cities?

I would say 12-15 cities seems like a good size. Enough to have good expanding without making it too large.
And I'll make a summary post in a tech thread when the picks are finalized, which should hopefully be by the end of today. Edit: Also, don't feel too terribly rushed to get the map out, I just realized that both me and Commodore aren't going to be able to be very active on here this weekend, so I really wouldnt be able to start playing til Monday anyways.
And it occurs to me that playing times for turn order might be in order too. Brick is prime, so whatever his slots are for us.
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.
