Yeah I think the only way team 2 can lose at this point is accidentally deleting a great artist or using the wrong ability. I believe Lewwyn has actually been miscalculating the culture per turn because he isn't taking into account the fact that the starving artist doesn't produce culture, but even if he's a turn off (which according to scooter's math and the latest screenshots he isn't) they'll have more than enough units to survive for that additional turn.
Musketeers cannot withdraw, no.

Also... does this mean davy didn't attack with every unit on round 1? He had 104 attackers yet only 90 units died.
Has to be withdrawals from the mounted units on both sides?

I think so. Team 3 didn't use all units to attack. May be they didn't get odds. Non cannon deaths are only 78. I don't think they have 20 mounted units that can withdraw...

Yeah. We got a brief "Team 2 are obviously going full pelt for a culture victory" message from Thoth, although I doubt he knows just how close things are.

I feel bad for Spulllarise, this is going to be one hell of a sucker-punch.
I have to run.

I wonder if he'll get to this before the end of the game. It would be a shame if he spent a whole lot of time intricately thinking out and carefully writing up a plan for space, just a few hours before everything goes belly-up...

Yeah, same here. I can't even imagine if I was in their shoes. Its not a 1.0 regoarrarrs because only T2 is actually in line for the possibility of that level of disappointment here, but its pretty high.
FWIW, I think all 4 teams have covered themselves in glory to some extent. T1 with outstanding play, T2 with the win, T3 with almost as good as T1 play and Thoth/nabaxo's T4 for managing to be a giant pain in the ass from being handed absolutely terrible circumstances.
Kudos, PB6'ers!

Heh t this point it looks like they wouldn't be able to take it at all, not without a lot of reinforcements anyway.
