2metra is not coming with Cannon, so we don't need the flanking ability that Curassiers provide (knights flank Cats sufficiently). Losses may be a bit higher, but they're all Pinch already and we have a nice stack of Cannon for collateral so I don't think upgrading is essential for security.

With OR they're worth 60x2.75=165g, which is probably better then a granary.

I'm reluctant to allow this because it will slow down development of a good city site by about 12-15 turns. That means that each future pop will come 15 turns later so I'm pretty sure we'll be giving up a lot more than we'll be gaining.

For 250g at a critical time?
Honestly, I don't think any individual non-core city's worth that much anymore. Anyway, its not massive, at that stage we can basically swap it in for whatever smile
I think I can also work HS into that plan, but I'm not going to go over every turn.

Lets see:
Hagia require 550 hammers.
Assuming Blimp (which is easily the best place to build it) then its 185 GA or 110 NGA (or there abouts).
SO 3 GA turns.
So
Quote:T213: A high-hammer city not required for other projects works on HS
T214: A high-hammer city not required for other projects works on HS
T215: A high-hammer city not required for other projects works on HS
T216: A high-hammer city not required for other projects works on HS
T217: A high-hammer city not required for other projects works on HS
T218: Blimp puts 185 hammers in. 185/550
T219: Blimp puts 185 hammers in. 370/550
T220: A high-hammer city not required for other projects works on HS
T221: A high-hammer city not required for other projects works on HS
T222: From now on Blimp can finish HS at Eot as desired, not including T223.

Mars is currently set to settler. Mars only appears in your current plan on T219 so we could start HS there now.

We should run 0% this turn regardless because Commodore may trade Astro to us for another +20% pre-req bonus on SM.

Yeah, I'm trying to get the settler out now (it'll be 3 turns once it takes tiles back from Sheep) so we can focus on buildings/wonders while in OR.
How about Paradigm this turn?

Now that you bring my attention to Paradigm, the monastery there is pointless since SM obsoletes monastery smoke

What is the settler for? The fish city N of Paradigm?
Reply

I'll log in now to make the swap at Paradigm.

Err no, we want to get monastries in before SM so we can build missionaries without being in OR - I queued that up and still think we should finish it.
There's a bunch of sites on the offing, the one near commodore, the one near Bigger, the south lakes one.
Personally I think we should go for the fish one, but its a strategic choice so up to you.

Your plan has ToA completing EOT 219, so SM must come on T220 (preferably with max overflow into Communism). This gives us 7 turns. The Monastery needs 2-3 turns to complete. If the settler build at Mars is a 3-turn build we can build HS at Paradigm now while Mars works on the Settler, then put Mars on HS while Paradigm finishes the Monastery.
