Everything is going according to the plan. We're now 2 turns from Machinery. Then just Guilds left to get Knights. After that? Civil Service and Banking. Maybe squeeze in a few cheap techs while saving money.
Perhaps it is soon time to conquer the continent. However there is one requirement that needs to be fulfilled. Fenn needs to attack me first. If he does that, I can wipe out his stack with collateral. He can probably whip out another army, but I would have the advantage.

Trebs and Cho-Ko-Nu's near Velociraptor. Not too many of them yet. I don't think he knows that I can see them.
Just waiting for the border pop to offer the city to him for an island one.
In case he doesn't accept, I think I should prepare a smaller stack to take over and secure the island.

Mmm. This turn the borders popped, but Fenn also invaded
I chose to show some restraint. I offered the city for 10T of peace.
His stack isn't that scary, but my own stack has a hard time defending Velociraptor due to Mardoc ending up with Triceratops and cutting me off.
Anyway the thing is, in 10 turns I will have a force so much more terrifying. It will be worth the sacrifice.
I'm already #1 in Soldiers and that's before I've even started mass producing Knights which will be the bulk of my force.
Best case scenario: Fenn accepts the trade, attacks again in 10T and gets a surprise of a lifetime as I wipe out his stack.
If he doesn't accept the free city for peace, well. I have some plans in motion.
This should be exciting for you lurkers!

Fenn accepted peace. Bye Velociraptor I conquered you, whipped you to the ground, then built you back up, only to abandon you.
3 turns to Guilds. Can you finish what you started Fenn?

Knight count over 20 next turn. Just upgraded a stack of HA's
Fenn sent a null deal that was supposed to be a sign of peace I think? Not buying it.

Forced peace is over but he didn't declare yet. Now we wait.

There's the declaration. But then an immediate white peace offer. I guess he wants to kill Mardoc and doesn't want me to get opportunistic. Smart play.
Fenn, I can't let you do that. Mardoc is my rival and you can't have him! sychosmile:

Fenn forked me with a Knight stack before I could get Pikes up. I panicked and offered white peace. I also moved in my stack to fork him in case he didn't accept peace. He didn't accept it, but he retreated with his Knight stack and offered white peace. I didn't take it because I now have pikes and managed to whip and upgrade a few, so if he tries forking again I should be OK. I did offer him peace in exchange for Mange. It's a huge ass city so it'd be worth it to let him go at Mardoc for 10 turns in exchange for it. Doubtful that he'd agree, but might as well ask. We're at cold war now, cause the first one to make a move is the first one to get hit by collateral.

I spotted two of Fenn's Trebuchets inside Mardoc's lands. They have OB. I bet you he doesn't think I can see them. And I bet you his stack is over there, not at Mange.
Maybe I should retreat and defend. We could remain in this stand still until everyone concedes to Wetbandit and the game ends.
Or we could turn this into a blood bath. I kill his cities, he kills mine.
Blood, or boredom?
He forked me again. I sacrificed a piece to check for his stack (better be sure) and as I thought it's not here.
So I killed his forking stack. Next turn we can hit Mange.

I bombarded Mange down to 0% defense. Attacking next turn. There's a stack of Cho-Ko-Nu's heading this way, but they aren't in range of me yet. The Trebuchets also disappeared from Mardoc's lands. Fenn must have chosen Boredom over Blood
He threw 3 more units at my stack. If his stack of 13 units stays in Mange, I should be able to wipe it out without many losses.
I also started my attack on the island. It's small scale, but if it catches him unawares it'll be enough.
