Also, agree with your plan for Ash'Arak replacement - western ports are going to be valuable - but a bit of a double edged sword. Keep in mind that we have Viking Scooter to our west. So those cities are going to want several Oromos each for a garrison.
Another thing: we need a city to start pumping Christian missionaries to go along with our settlers out of Coneheads. Maybe we can fit one in out of Schweddy Balls after it's next Oromo?
Good points. We actually don't need TOO many missionaries, because Yuri had already converted most of his cities. Also, I (tentatively) swapped the chop / overflow in Schweddy Balls to a settler (it has I think 70h in overflow). I just want to make sure to lock down the border with Commodore ASAP

So one settler goes to Ash'Arak - where does the other go?

Ducked in and finished the turn. Scooter offered to trade world maps and i accepted, so we can see a lot of the far east now.

Scooter is offering Education for 1057g. I really want to take this deal, except we only have 801g. He must have offered it last turn. I really want to take this deal but I'm not sure what the repercussions of giving more gold than we have woudl be so I declined. I think we should consider offering him some gold for it this turn, though - that is a steal of a price. Maybe we offer him 800g and Spices this turn? It's a steal!!!

In other news, Yuri built a longbow in Aiur and another in Mar Sara, as well as a 4th longbow in Korhal.
Commodore sent in his knights against Monolyth and almost won. He got Yuri down to 2 longbows at 3.6 & 2.6 life. He only lost 1 knight and 1 impi. (I guess this is what good dice rolls will do for you  ) Too bad for him that Yuri just built another longbow there, but it is possible that he takes the city next turn. Unlikely but possible.
Other news: Yuri got another GG - but this one was born in the island town of Folsom. And Scooter got another Great Scientist. We also can stop giving Commodore iron because he has hooked up the source by Vorpal Blade.
One last thing: Yuri has Engineering.

If you had accepted, you would have gone into negative gold and would have had to rectify that this turn. If you would not have been able to get into positive gold at EOT (by running max gold) then you would have gone into strike. I think.

Yeah, that was what I was afraid of. We could not have rectified it this turn because we only make 100gpt at max tax. I guess we could have used Wealth.
