I don't see how this can reasonably happen. A lot hinges on who quickly assimilates the soon-to-be available land. How is T2 supposed to decide how to defend when they've already won?

Not to mention that team 3 has already gone all last ditch on team 2. How could a showdown now be fair?

I dunno... AI takeover and let the AI decide? I think lewwyn and ASM are looking forward to a break, anyway. And they're pretty much playing AI style defense as it is, packing all their units into a city and just letting them get hit.

Besides, team3 is clearly at the disadvantage here, having to fight the entire Chinese army while team2 gets undefended cities. If team 3 is cool with it then why not?

Yeah and this is also really unfair too because T1 has been playing SimCity for the last month while T3 has been killing themselves to make this invasion. It's given T1 an artificial lead right now that T3 had nearly wiped out earlier before the plan to stop the CV fell into place.
