Again; sorry to anyone of the Euro persuasion who took offense at the Godwin invocation, realize it's still a bit of a sensitive subject across the pond.

@Seven - Ok. Your style may be a little intense for my taste, but I have to give you credit for adding a sense of fun to the anger and swearing.

It's almost a shame (not really!) that I'm back with my family and in a better mood these days, with some of the posts here I feel like I've died and gone to forum troll heaven. Alas, posting from my phone I'll have to be brief.
@Plako: hurrah, good fortune to you in the war, whatever is happening. One day soon I'll have Internet again and can check on the game, but hopefully your D-Day landing causes the Germans great consternation.
@Mackoti and Seven: Cheer up fellows, I have a feeling you're still ahead in body count (on the good side, killing more than you lose). And congrats on your recent success recapturing your city. With any luck, and more "braindead" tactics on my part we'll be able to undo your good work and burn that city down. If I can't have Blackfeet Casino, no one can. Oh, and about the braindead bit...now who is hurling insults? There is a difference between being aggressive and lucky and being stupid. I'm not the best civ player out here, but I didn't throw a stack of warriors at you to take that city. Be fair, I'm not retarded.
@The Cultured West: congrats on your imminent collective space ship victory. May you all fire laser beams and photon torpedos at each other on the way to Alpha Centari. Whoever gets their space ship blasted last on the way will surely achieve an all time RB record on the Regoarrarr scale. I would guess recording a 2.0 measurement is possible. Just do us backward Easterners a kindness and glass the planet before you leave orbit. That's what a true tyrant would do.

I liked it better when the theme of this thread was the world vs. Parkin, rather than East vs. West :neenernee. I expect things to heat up before long, since there are some aggressive players in the West and the old "our close borders cause tension" malus will kick in. Naturally, though, all of our cities are stuffed with CG3 longbows.

Well since someone brought up Parkin...
I'm going to go ahead and call Parkin's quiet rise towards the top of the scoreboard "a preview of Mackseven." Or, if you prefer, Seven can be Parkin 2.0.

Quiet rise of Parkin? Weren't there about 50 loud angry posts involved?

He's been mercifully quiet since he's begun winning with his large tracts of land. Fighting him is too bloody depressing, apparently, due to the clock games. It's one of those costs of war things, like hitting SMack means you'll get called a mental defective, hitting LP means turn-timer play.
But yeah, Sunrise, my own personal pool still has SMack winning this.

Well at least this thread feels a little more like a AW thread should be. The lovefest from 20 or so pages ago was getting a little silly.
Might be a little over the top though. Take Pindicator and me for example. He left a bit of a mess after most of his units did their vanishing trick, yet I don't hold a grudge. (At least not until my cunning plan goes into effect *evil cackle*)
