not an update, just an EP question

HRE sent me a mail saying I just got construction and I think there's 2 civs that could possibly have shared this info with them.

slaze has 76-30 EP's on me, can he see my research?

athlete has 96-64 EP's on me, same question

I'm interested in knowing who shared my research info with HRE. It'd be useful to know if slaze is actively working against more than just India.

Nakor also caught me for an ingame chat and was offering to transport a settler + mili unit to the middle island to grab a silver spot on it. He says its to stop India grabbing another good spot but I'm not sure about it.

1. We have no NAP and he could just declare and kill them.
2. India has a trireme in the area, they would see that someone gifted me a galley and then I settled 'their' spot. Not great for relations

Although tech trading is off - if someone has researched alphabet, they can still see techs in the F4 screen.

An update?

Ok... not done this in a while so probably going to miss things.



Really zoomed out picture of my land. Pretty clear that I made a decent landgrab to the north but got virtually nothing to the south. Everytime HRE negotiates with me I feel like saying "Hey give me a good deal since you stole half my land!"



The current demographics screen. Note that I'm running 0% science currently so my GNP is lower than normal.



Here's my current settling plan, I am going to spam settlers and get them to the spots marked X as quickly as possible. Yes this makes me insanely vulnerable to naval warfare but I think HRE is still obsessed with India and winning the game whereas I just want to get to the end of the game in decent shape.

Hmm what else....

Research is set to education at the moment and although I'm too far behind to grab the free merchant at economics, thats where I'm heading next. Don't have much of a plan right now so just grabbing anything that helps me tech.

Diplomatically India, Korea and myself have regularly been exchanging emails about various stuff. I wouldn't say I'm close to India diplomatically at all but seem to get on well with plako.

HRE is still totally paranoid about an Indian attack through my lands (India tells me they have no such plans) and is currently trying to negotiate a NAP which refuses Indian troops right of passage in my lands and stops me gifting units. Again they didn't offer me anything for this so I'm cheekily pushing the exact same thing on themselves by demanding that they can't help Ottomans or scout my lands at all. Chances of that turning out seem slim.


Anything else you guys want to know? I'm assuming other people are posting the emails in their threads.

As you can see in the demographics I'm 6th (?) in power but not sporting any Maces/Xbows/Longbows/Knights yet. Virtually all my forces are on or close ot the border with HRE.

For some reason Athlete mailed me about the slaze backstabbing incident, didn't give me any reason for it just said there was 2 sides to every story.

Doesn't really interest me, I won't be working with the Ottomans again in this game.
