The most fun role I've had was in Paranoia-themed game, where I was paired with another player as part of a deep-undercover third faction. My partner was embedded with the village, while I got to pretend to be scum within their own scum subforum, playing a mini-game of WW within the larger one I doubt anyone would attempt a role like that again though, as being able to bus my "fellow" scum was pretty broken (I had restrictions on the information I was allowed to reveal in the game thread, but there was nothing keeping me from "scum-hunting" with perfect knowledge).

I don't much go in for the mathematical lynch vote analysis, but GKC at least has all of the most suspicious people in the top 5. If serdoa pulls his head out of his ass the town might make a comeback.

Man I did everything I could. 2nd half of day 2 I took a break from the game because I had like 3 irl commitments, and as soon as I did the thread basically went silent all day. No one hunting.

I can 100% agree that you balled out for town and it went pretty unappreciated. Bad luck man. Hopefully they will take that into account now.

Dude brick why didn’t you just make the first shot on me fail? Instead of forcing me to choose a night to use the ability?

Sorry man, that's Bulletproof not Commuter. It will make a little more sense when setup is revealed at game's end. You can still be mad at me though, it's the GMs job to be criticized to hell and back.

As a newbie, even as a lurker, the amount of different roles is really astonishing. Is it standard that there is no upfront info on the roles in the game?
I have seen BrickAstley's link, but there are 193 roles/role modifiers on that page

If the roles are upfront people tend to try to guess who's has what role instead of trying to find wolves. For example no one knew if it was a vig or a SK, which adds uncertainty

Yeah, we have historically played these "Closed" setups, as opposed to "Open" setups where all the roles are known. I have started thinking that "Open" setups, where you at least know some of the roles, might be a good alternative to try. Man we’ve done aliens, zombies, ghouls, mafia, cultists, FFH characters, I was once a vampire serial killer. Just a ton of good stuff.

Book characters too ! I was trying to save the owner of the books by killing all the other characters (a SK role)

I came up with and ran the last two of those. Man are y'all making me nostalgic for some of those crazy setups.

Nauf hasn’t voted yet but he’s obvs going to vote pin. So it comes down to CMF and serdoa joining on scooter or superdeath getting convinced over. But Scooter-wolf is very convincing to newbies and they are in his thrall. I’m willing to be pleasantly surprised but I’m doubtful. Particularly with how bad CMF has read this game.

GKC is the only one who is agreeing with me on CMF. Like its crazy those no-info odes to Roland are getting him so much town cred. Lewwyn, Meiz and I all showed how you can share plenty of info while keeping your posts readable.

This scooter/pindicator stuff is bullshit - one way or another, they're both lying. Lynch them both. But for the love of all that is holy, lynch scooter first.

Also, I'm like 90% town on Serdoa and Commodore at this point. Its pretty scary that's the sum of my living town reads at this point.

If I had to rank the remaining players from most likely non-town to town I'd go:
