I also want to post a reminder that I will be in the Netherlands for two weeks as of August 25 - Sept 6. I will likely find someone from badgame to take my turns for me but if anyone here wants to volunteer that would be excellent too. I will have internet my entire time over there so I will be in contact.

I will be bringing my laptop with me to try to take turns but I've had difficulty doing that while traveling before (probably just didn't setup the natneg stuff for my laptop or something).

Getting a weird error when I connect, wondering if you guys have seen this before:




I'm not sure if I'm just accidentally running a slightly different mod or not. I downloaded a fresh copy of 4.1.0.10 because this is my laptop and I'm doing a test run on this before I try taking my turns overseas. I'll look into it further but if anyone knows what it might be that would be cool.

I had that error when I tried to log in for the first time yesterday. I unchecked admin privileges and reinstalled the mod. Seeing as you had the same I guess it was the admin thing that fixed it for me.

I don't think I have anything checked for that. Maybe the BTS Wrapper is forcing it to run as admin? No idea.

Hmm I see it was the same as boak's error... but I've never installed mods to the My Games directory, only to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Beyond the Sword\Beyond the Sword\Mods. I'm not sure what could be causing the discrepancy in mod types. I don't have anything 'running as admin' as far as I can tell, unless there's some setting somewhere I haven't checked.

I did a fresh install of Civ4 and that did not help. Really not sure what the issue could be anymore.

EDIT What's especially weird is that I can connect normally to the badgame pitboss and load the save there and play my turns. It's just for PB45 that I'm having an issue.
