Wouldn't he have to reload the game every turn then? That would be obnoxious.

I think not... I recall doing that for some reason and it worked to keep on playing. At any rate, you can definitely play on against AIs if you do it using Pitboss itself rather than PBEM; connect to your own Pitboss host and Pitboss will play the AI turns.

FWIW, I'll dedlurk Dazed with the following rules:

1. I'm not playing any of the saves unless Dazed is going to be away for an extended period of time
   
2. I'm not creating any special MM plans
   
3. I'm going to be constantly demoralizing Dazed every time he makes a dumb mistake.

I'm basically just going to be around for Dazed if he wants to ask me any questions about his plans. I'll remain a ded lurker for as long as Dazed needs someone to bounce ideas off and he has the civ under control, but I'm not intending to be actively involved in the game (yeah, you don't have to worry about me sucking all of the fun out of the game. It wouldn't be fair on anyone).

I wasn't worried about you sucking out the fun. If I'm beaten to a pulp by better players I'm OK with that, as I'm sure I'll learn quite a bit from it. And no MM planning, huh? So we won't be seeing a Lib --> Superconductor plan from team Dazed ? If you don't provide a plan for him to ignore, that's one less thing to ridicule him about....

I sent a PM to Darrell asking him to update the .php tracking file since he is the host. The edit is to update the name displayed for team 4.

I believe if there is only one human left in a PBEM game, it is automatically converted to a hotseat game.

Nice job on two turns today guys. Catwalk, the tracker doesn't show it yet but Dazed said he sent the save on to you.

Who has a copy of the .php file the tracker uses? I could take a stab at editing it and emailing it to Darrell to repost. I assume all we need to do is replace Kuro's name with Dazedroyalty and update the email address listed somewhere in that file?

Thanks for posting the link, Novice. I'm no programmer but I took enough classes to be able to read through the .php file and understand that a someone put a lot of work into this. Was Mist the original author? To whoever wrote it, and for whoever has tested/refined it over time, a big . I know just enough about programming to appreciate the skill and effort it takes to do it well and you guys clearly put in a lot of work to make the tracker as robust as it is.
