My mistake. My recollection, which I didn't check, was that you said you were going to settle there but would check the map when you logged in for specifics. Sorry. I have no categorical objection to you planting a second city in that area, but which of the resources below your existing city are you looking to control?
@pindicator - You've stayed quiet during this discussion. I hope I've finally got our relations back up to Cautious, so is there anything in the relevant area that would risk a drop back to Annoyed?

hey sunrise, I didn't think it was any of my business in how you negotiate with Mali. Hope you get a good deal out of them, though. And don't forget about Rome; they may be that 350GNP civ that everybody can't figure out. Btw, nice job at turning that GNP dial up Rome; it's about time
I like how our current relations are and our current borders too; they fit the terrain naturally and allow both of us good defensive positions. I guess I can bring up the question of the land east of your cow city (where your scout went to get to Moogle). I'm not exactly flush with happy resources so I was hoping to grab the ivory/pig site in that area. What would your thoughts on that be? Do you have any other thoughts on how this game is progressing out in our corner of the world?

LP, where does that number come from?
Also -- I'm curious how far ahead you are in total beakers. Don't suppose you'll give us a number? :neenernee
Edit: Oh, duh. The 666 is your score! I get it now

With that side of the world all talking nice-nice, I figured I should get involved as well so that our side of the world doesn't feel left out.
plako & LP, it's been a nice thing that we've both been able to peacefully work the improvements along each others borders. A couple protective units for covering workers to get the job done and then move on to other tasks. It's nice that we can all do that.
ComoXenu, our borders don't clash close enough due to the terrain between us....so other than saying "Hi", "Howdy", "How are you?".....there isn't really much else to say at the moment.

@pindicator - Unfortunately the two peak clusters in that ivory area complicate things. Without them there would be space for a Chinese, Egyptian, and additional Mali city. With the clusters though...I'm not even sure there's room for a Chinese and Mali city (even if I ceded all claims...), which is why I wanted to loop you in.

I'd say pretty confidently that you're the one ahead in total beakers in this game. Probably by quite a significant margin.
But if you want, I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours.

@parkin - Maybe you're being nicer now that you're officially ahead, or maybe I've been charmed by teaming for the new CFC demogame, but even though your posts don't seem as objectionable as they did 50t ago I still wish you'd just say nothing sometimes.
Look, you're in a very commanding position. While pindicator finds himself in a good position, he's also surrounded by most of the top armies in the game, and his neighbors are at roughly tech and economic parity. Same with all of us in the west. Your neighbors on the other hand have proven, quite publicly, totally unwilling to commit to any course of action to check your lead. Your break-even beakers per turn are ~100 higher than the 2nd place civ.
Now I know you can't exactly say "ha! you old RB hands lost to me again! mwahahahaha!" or else you might actually spur people to action, but surely no one is so blind as to think it's just anyone's game still. So again...why say anything?

Or if someone else posts pindicator's, I'll post LPs.
sunrise's would be an acceptable substitute too. I'm just curious. It's fun to learn about how backward you are.

Oh, it has nothing to do with being unwilling. It's pretty much a huge inability.
When someone has literally at least twice as many cities, probably 3-4 times as much land, and a tech rate that's probably triple as too.....well, you just have to hope for a peaceful border. I'd be more successful fighting a dual war against both ComX and plako, than trying to go up against LP.
