RB Pitboss #1 [SPOILERS!] - Kublai Khan of Rome

I simmed out a worker / agriculture start using the above save ...

basically it is ...

learn agriculture
build worker for 10 turns
farm rice
learn bronze working
mine hill
mine hill, forest chop into settler
learn iron working

So, by T27 (quick speed), we have a settler ready to go, barracks in the capital and we've just finished iron working. I'm also hoping that one of those bear hills contains a useful resource.

The game is up. Its also on civstats (Realms Beyond Pitboss). I moved our warrior 1SW and here is our starting point.



I think we settle in place, start a worker and research agriculture.

Indeed. Let just hope there is no tasty seafood to our east. But in the worst case, we can build a 2nd city there.

I'll get some pics in here one day. Our warrior is generally heading South. The map is HUGE so I'm not that worried by an early find and attack against our city.

We met Mostly_Harmless this morning - is this our first victim?

Here is a summary of what has happened for the last 9 turns.



You can see that we have finished Agriculture and we are 6 turns from finishing a worker. We decided to go worker first as this map is HUGE and we didn't expect to met anyone too early. Sure, it is a risk but is should pay out.

The yellow track is the path that our warrior took. He is currently circled in yellow. mh / Kodii's warrior met ours at pink circle and is currently located at red circle. You can see that he has reversed direction to some degree. He either directly reversed or he came up from the SE.

You can also see a panther 4 or 5 tiles North of the pigs.

TAD was a little upset when he saw the sea food - apparently he likes seafood at the capital. Actually, it would have been golden for us as we have fishing and we could be growing and building a food resource at the same time.

Nods, but too much of a risk. We would have wasted two turns for the possibility of seafood. It is a good second city site anyway.

I hate mh+Kodii's color!! If you look very very closely at the screenshot above, you can just make out the border. It is 3 tiles South of my warrior's position. Now, the question is - do I turn East or do I turn West?
