First to size 2, nice. (Unless someone else whipped already, but I doubt it this early... it'd be visible in Civstats anyway.)

Either settling on the Ivory or 1E of it seems to make the most sense to me. I'm not sure what you're talking about with the fresh water, HAK - that's really only relevant if we settle ON a fresh water tile (for the health bonus). Doesn't make much difference otherwise.

Settling on the Ivory might be the best choice here. I think that ivory tiles are simply not that strong to work, better to have a 2H city tile.

Turn 18:

Since no one had anything to say about the scout movement, I have moved Capra as was suggested by HAK.

News:
1. Capra (scout) has found Gillette's capital!!!
2. Bos (warrior) is still revealing goodies - wet Corn this time.

Units movement:
Capra (scout) - W, SW? Let's look into Gillette's capital smile

On the northern sector the scouting is going well. The area around the Gold is a nice piece of land smile.

Since no one had anything to say about the second warrior's name. I named him temporarily - Sus Scrofa (pig).

It should be an adequate name for the ruler of Animal Farm smile

Nothing new to report with the Warrior. The two Grass tiles in the fog were uncovered.

As for Capra, he's reached the border of Gillette. They have a worker on a Deer to the north of their city.

We may want to move to that grass hill on their border next turn before returning towards home.

Propose W-SW for the scout next turn. Else E-E. Want to get on a hill.

Yeah, the hill that is W-SW is the one I was referring to. That's the one I think we should go to.

I agree with that hill, and I think we should use the scout to defog the area between their capital and ours afterwards.

Was just about to head to bed and thought to check the forum, only to realize the turn hadn't been played yet. Plus very little posting activity. I've had a rough weekend and early part of the week, so haven't been doing much online stuffs.

Anyway, here's the screenie's from the turn:

For the scout next turn, I think maybe best to go W-SW to that grass hill before starting the northward exploration.
Most likely going NW-NW after that.

Btw, what is our worker going to be doing next turn?

We should scout the area between our and Gillette's capitals. In that area we can possibly plant the second city, and we need to know every tile there. The area far to the south can wait until later.

IMO Capra (Scout) should go NW and from there the turn player should decide:
- if the ??? tile is flat and without forest (you will see it through the fog after uncovering the hill to the south) NW once more.
- if the ??? tile is forested or a hill, than just N.

Bos (Warrior) SW on the riverside plain.

@HAK - the worker should go E on the riverside grassland hill and start a mine there. Everything is written here
