You pop borders at gold city. Even though copper is not actually in the borders it gets our culture because it is bordered on all sites by our culture at that point. I had thought about that yesterday already but didn't mention it as I thought it would probably take too long, due to planting south first. Now with desert first it should work out.

Yes, indeed! I missed that at first. If this works out I find it hilarious that we'll get copper sooner by not planting the copper city first.
![]() The sim is definitely optimistic, things can easily get delayed by barbarian warriors or opponents, but it looks considerably better than anything else right now. And actually it can be improved some, the gold doesn't need to be roaded really. Tentative short term micro plan: 1) Build settler next in the capital. 2) New worker finishes the road 2NW. 3) Both workers start the horse pasture. ONE WORKER CANCELS IMMEDIATELY. 4) One worker continues the pasture while the other worker goes S-SE-SW to road the forest. 5) North worker does NOT road the horse, and instead goes S-NW-NW to build a mine on the grass hill. The horse needs to be roaded very late if we want to maximize yields in Pagle. This is a bit risky but I think it's worth it, and we'll have Archery anyway. 6) Other worker roads SW of the forest after roading the forest. 7) New settler goes NW-4SW to plant the city. The accompanying worker goes W-SW after roading to land on the tile north of the city site, next to the corn. It farms the corn on the turn that the city is founded.

Yeah I noticed. Not much to say about it though, maybe he'll build the Oracle.
![]() The name is kind of silly but I couldn't come up with anything better.

Meanwhile, in Serdoa's head...

And the deer will be improved faster.

Looks very good, maybe we can get SH? What if chop the pre-chopped forest to finish T61, whip that worker in the capital on T60?
Well the prechopped forest is for the new city.
There isn't stone so we'd need quite a few more hammers than that. I can post a bunch of saves if you want to look at specifics to see if things can be changed.I just checked and Donovan planted his city on the grass hill between the copper and the pig, since there used to be a forest there. Does that change anything? He also adopted Slavery last turn before planting it this turn. We're planning to have an archer in the border city on t46. It is now t35. I guess worst case we could whip the archer in Pagle?
