Okay, Sullla doesn’t think they can trade. Someone bring it to his attention, they should at least discuss it with other players.

Funny that sullla and Singaboy think Japper and Cornflakes won't see their sudden but inevitable betrayal coming. I think it would be hilarious if Japper does what Cornflakes suggests and just deletes his settler where they can see it

CMF is planning to chop VA in a single turn, right? I have not been reading the plans that carefully, but it seems that's not possible, right? You can't chop/overflow two different items in the same turn, if I'm not mistaken. Not sure if that'll end up mattering considering his ETA, but it may end up as a nasty surprise a few turns from now.

I forget where I saw it (civtrader6 youtube video, perhaps?), but if you chop something to completion in the queue, put something else into the queue and then chop again it is possible to complete the second build. If there's overflow you don't lose it, so if he does three chops at 100 (with policy modifiers) each but only uses 30, the remaining 270 will go into whatever he puts into the queue next. If he chops out walls and two ships using the +100% overflow policies he might be able to come quite close to completing it in a single turn.

Interesting that Sullla appears to have not ever run Gothic Architecture for the VA and does not appear to be planning to.  Don't think it would put him ahead but if there are any more slips in CMF's schedule that could have brought it down to the wire.  (think that some of sullla's planned chops are going straight-in without an overflow so Gothic would help them.)

Also curious how all the teams will prioritize land vs naval techs - there is some complement between muskets and frigates, though the boost might be hard to land without a hot war; but a true beeline to cavs means skipping caravels/frigates.

I'm not sure Sullla is aware of lining multiple units up for overflow chops on the same turn. It's one of those things that isn't intuitive to players of previous iterations in the series but when you think about the mechanics of civ 6 makes sense. I know I never thought of the trick before and I'm certainly going to look to incorporate it in future games.

The way some of the other overflow mechanics work it's not surprising that this was missed or overlooked. For example, if you complete a civic and have overflow but get an inspiration during the turn the overflow is zeroed out. Production overflow carries turn-to-turn but it isn't obvious is what happens with a second chop on a turn unless you tried it and were pleasantly surprised or saw someone else do it.
