Turn 31:

The chops are done, and our research has moved on to Agriculture. The warriors are all doing what was already planned out for them, and the workers will move to their roading positions next turn.
With the completion of our tech, we are now in the lead for score as well.

Capra saw TEAM's scout before I started our turn. He's kind of following our path. I think I'll compose a message to Gillette a little later to let them know exactly where the scout is.
Here's where the TEAM scout is as of this turn:

As for next turn, I suppose we should send Capra to uncover those last few tiles before having him come back around the southern lands of Gillette? If we move him N-NE, will that uncover all of the tiles? I hope so, since then we can move him SE-SE after that to continue on his exploration without wasting too much time moving through lands we've already seen.
Everything else for next turn is already understood based on the plan, so this is the only decision we kinda need to make. Though I suppose there's no reason not to go uncover those last tiles, even if it takes 2 turns to do so.

Agree.

All moves proposal:

W1 - Bos (warrior), W2 - Sus (warrior), W4 - Ovis (warrior), W1 - first worker, W2 - second worker, Black line - road

Workers will start roading towards the second city site. Any name proposal for our second city?

News:
1. We have met Pirates, unfortunately not in the way we would like.
2. Equus dicovered yet another fish. It was worth to send him to map that 4 missing water tiles.

Units Movement:?
Capra (scout) - will map the remaining 2 tiles and return to scouting the south coast.
Bos (warrior) - should go to the capital, and be ready to go NE if the situation demand that.
Sus (warrior) - I think we should move him back to cover the workers, and the settler in transit. One warrior is not enough against a quechua. The exact move should depends on the quechua movement. If the quechua goes SW (on the tile S of the lake) we should move on the same tile (without attacking him of course). If he goes somewhere else we should move Sus straight S. That way we minimize the risk of being attacked in the open terrain (quechua has combat 1 promo from the start).
Equus (warrior) - should return to Animal Farm as fast as possible.
Ovis (warrior) - should go straight to the Ivory tile and fortify there. It's the tile where our settler will be on turn 35, and the tile that can be attacked by the quechua that turn.
Workers - will start roading next turn

Two things has happened:
1. Quechua went away.
So we can move Sus SE on the tile directly south of the lake.

2. Pirates adopted Slavery.
It can means three things:
- the are afraid of us and did it as a safety measure.
- they have just produced a settler.
- they prepare to whip a settler next turn.

If they have just produced a settler we can loose the gold city race, that is why we should move Sus SE next turn and then SE once more on the grassland hill to see what is going on.

In any other case, the Gold city is our.

News:
1. It's very probably, we are in a race to a Gold city spot.
2. If it's true we will loose the race.
3. But if it's true, we are in a position to destroy Pirate's gold city, and than capture their capital.

Capra (scout) - will return to scouting the south coast.
Bos (warrior) - IMO shold go NE,NE next turn (after the workers will finish the road!!!), and be in a position to punish Pirate's if they steal our Gold.
Sus (warrior) - SE on to the grassland hill. He will see naxt turn what is going on. If I am right to the settler race, he should see Pirate's settler, and quechua on a selected tile on turn 34 after Pirate's turn.
Equus (warrior) - should return to Animal Farm as fast as possible.
Ovis (warrior) - should go straight NE, NE and be in a position to punish Pirates
Workers - will finish roading next turn

If I am right to the Pirate's plan, they started with a worker, and then just after they reached size 2 they started to produce a settler. That means, they have now:
- 1 worker
- 1 settler
- 1 scout somewhere
- 1 starting quechua guarding their capital
- 1 produced quechua heading to the selected spot
It means, it was a very greedy and vulnerable opening.

If I am right their settler would arrive on the selected spot on their 34 turn, and would plant a city on their turn 35. And it means they would win the race by one turn. But it also means that their Gold city would be protected by only one quechua, and we will have 3 warriors there, ready to raze the city on our turn 38, before they have any opportunity to produce a quechua there or transfer one from their capital. 3 warriors vs 1 quechua is almost a certain victory.
After we would raze the city they would be left with size 2 capital, 1 worker and 1 quechua (+ additional one they can be building now). And we would have size 4 capital, size 1 additional city (horse city will be best) and we could be building and choping chariots to cripple them to the death or take their capital at our leisure.

In that scenario, we can have 4 cities in around 50 turn (one of them could be Pirate's capital) + a very comfortable position for a future game, with one of our neighbours dead.

I would prefer to go according to our plan, but if it would be impossible due to Pirate's acction, we can have PLAN B, which is quite good too. And it could be a very interesting time indeed smile

Pirates decided to straight pink dot us smile
A quechua and a settler is under our warrior Sus.

I didn't ended the turn.
We have time to decide what to do next.

Their settler is protected only by one quechua, and there is no sight of an additional one. If they plant the city we can raze it without much problem. But I think it would be wise to first warn them, that we will not tolerate such behaviour. What do you think?

Yeah, send them a warning message - though be firm ("if you did this we would be forced to react...") rather than rude/presumptive ("you're cheeky and have obviously chosen war with us...").

The question is what we will do after razing the Pirate's city?

I would prefer to build Stonehenge and the second settler nontheless, but it can be risky (depends on the outcome of the fight) to plant the Gold city in such a way that we planed.
We always can plant it on the Ivory. That way it would be closer to Animal Farm, and have more production thanks to 2 hammer center, and Cow (4,2,0). With such production (and 1 chop) the city can defend on it's own, alowing our capital to do their duties. But we would loose a big chunk of commerce (not working Gold until after the borders pop).

Let's prise to the RNG. If we loose only one warrior in the attack, we can defend the city, if we loose two it can be risky.

I didn't ended the turn giving Pirates time to think our message.
