Other than the highly questionable in retrospect decision to ditch representation (I was in full mail it in mode by then), things are set up really nicely for a space race run.

I think, I would be interested in taking over but I'm spoiled (though I didn't follow closely as of late); however, I think any unspoiled candidate should have a priority over me.

Honestly, you guys are going to have to run it by the tech thread. I'm willing to concede right this second if it means I don't have to play this game anymore. I have no clue what the protocol here is for a replacement.

Still think this situation is super winnable, but it's completely unwinnable with the kind of time (or lack of it) I have to invest in it. So why bother?

To make this more clear: lurkers, I am completely willing to concede. I'm just looking for an alternative solution since most people seem to be having fun and wan tto play on, and I don't want to kill the game on account of me.

However, I can see a LOT of ways that a replacement could be messy.

I have a hard time playing turmn cause i moved house and everithing ,but will be beter from now.And pindicator tooking over scooteris not that great for me because of the situation in game.I hade some deals... with scooter and if i would know pindi takes over course i would played diferent.

I've had a post for a few days now that I was going to post in the IT thread, but I'm just going to leave it here because it seems a tad over the line in terms of saying too much publicly while the game is sort of technically ongoing. Also I was waiting to see if this potential LP friend replacement would pan out, which it looks like it won't.

But this post from mackoti (who is normally a very reasonable guy so I can get over this) is silly. His "deals" with me are a joke, and if I had the time to allow it, I had every intention of tearing them up because NAPs in a game that was designed to eliminate NAPs are stupid. In a perfect world, my hope post-Bigger was to get to the next age, then finally get revenge on Mackoti for all the times he screwed with us while we were absorbing neighbors. He badly out-stretched himself over the islands, and I could very easily visualize a plan that he wouldn't be able to do a lot about. I've been 1st in production (and every other relevant stat besides total beakers researched) for quite awhile now AND had the ability to convert gold into hammers via UniSuffrage. Oh, and mackoti has declared war on basically all his neighbors at one point or another so he isn't exactly popular, meaning there's a decent chance I would have been able to get help.

However, playing turns like that honestly requires 1-2 hour turns, and I barely have time anymore to log in and press enter. So instead of having to sweat for it, mackoti is getting handed a win because I don't have time. The very act of me NOT getting a replacement is amazingly good for him, when he could probably not be counted as the favorite as recently as 20T ago.

I understand why he would resist in that someone with more time replacing me diminishes his chances of victory, but that's really the only thing that's unfair. If hypothetically pindicator took over and decided to tear up those deals and attack mackoti, he would literally just be doing exactly what I would do if I had the time to do it. So I think mackoti's complaint is kinda ridiculous. It only seems like a fair complaint if I'm a bad player and I'm handing it to a good player - a reasonably good player with limited time handing it over to another reasonably good player with more time seems pretty realistic to me.

ALSO, less seriously, but I really have to object to being Mansa to pindicator's Montezuma . If anything I was Shaka to pindicator's Montezuma - every bit as bloodthirsty, but sadly, outside of the Nakor war, we always wanted the blood of entirely different empires .

Again, still willing to concede to Mackoti just to get this thing off my plate.
