I can't write a report from the turn I played last night right now, but HAK or whoever, can you move the southern chariot 2N and the northern 1NW, 1SW? Rose is vulnerable (one warrior when I played my turn) and I want to threaten it.

Hey guys, took a look in game and spammed it with signs.
I would let VR and Courcelette regrow on a Library before whipping another settler. Those 2 cities will be our research centers. Just signs about tiles to be improved/roaded and options for cities. No more time.... got to go... Hope it will be helpfull.
I started with THH's turn so that he could settle that city and gift it over to me, so that I can log in to accept it before ending either of our turns. I won't be able to finish THH's turn until we have a quick discussion though, since I'm confused about where THH is sending his settler.
It looks like he is sending it SW, but I thought the plan was to send it directly south to quickly settle that #4 spot which is 3 tiles south of VR? Are we instead sending it to the Moai city ##5? Or was he being super aggressive and sending it all the way out to the Pink Dot city? In this same screenshot you can see what I did with the chariots. I moved the first one NW and because I saw borders, instead of sending it back SW I decided to go threaten that city since it was closer. And lucky us, it's only got a Warrior in it right now. And I don't see roads that they could be bringing in a Spear from, so it looks like we should be able to raze that city next turn. Rose, you can see they whipped a Spear in (probably because they saw the chariot), so that city will not be something we can threaten. That also means, that since they have spears in the area (and probably axes), we can't do the Pink Dot city yet. We'd have no way to protect it until I can get Copper over to THH. So the only two viable spots for his city are Moai or city #4 (which could have been settled this turn if the settler wasn't sent SW). At this point, both cities are exactly 2 turns away...so I'm leaning towards doing the Moai one now while we're already out there. Thoughts? Also, I took out some of the other "conversation/funny" signs because they were getting in the way. Nakor put the signs for the cities, but if we do the "City 1N" spot then a city cannot go on that hill that is marked as a must get to. I'm not sure if his intention of that sign (and the one above it) was to instead suggest us making two cities on either side of that hill, but I'm thinking a city right where he pt the signs might be best. Then we'd have 3 cities all in a row, creating a nice barrier.
I'm also currently just starting my turn, but figured I'd toss out the first screenshot while I finish up:
WK pulled his settler/worker back into his city, and they completed the Pyramids in that city. Right now there's only a warrior in there, but if they have copper (which is highly likely) then I'm sure they'll be able to complete a spear next turn. Do I still move my chariot onto their farm? We know they won't get additional units from the city itself until they end their next turn (allowing me to move away), but if they have a spear next to the city in the north, it could theoretically move south through the city to kill my chariot. I'm leaning towards moving it onto the farm to deny them the food for one turn.
I agree that we need copper before we can settle towards Commodore.
I was thinking 2 cities in a row, but 3 cities are nice as well and the middle should give some visibility.
HAK, good call on the northern chariot move since Rose whipped (?) that spear. I had seen Petunia's borders but didn't mention them since it was just a quick note. I say don't move your chariot onto the farm; I'd rather not take the chance and preserve the chariot for future interference if we can't take a shot against the city.
These aggressive chariots are fun!
A little bit of tweaking to the dotmap - Nakor had some interesting suggestions on the LAM border - I think moving Hydra 6 2s1w could be a better defensive position making it harder to fork, but moving it 1s2w gets it more resources. Moving city X 2s gets a lot of lighthouse lakes as well as a defensible pinch-point, which is pretty good.
![]() Over on HAKs side city 7 could be the next site but I think 8 may have to wait until iron working. More thought might be needed to get the RMOG border as strong as the LAM border can be with Nakor's suggestions...
Completed: RB Demogame - Gillette, PBEM46, Pitboss 13, Pitboss 18, Pitboss 30, Pitboss 31, Pitboss 38, Pitboss 42, Pitboss 46, Pitboss 52 (Pindicator's game), Pitboss 57
In progress: Rimworld
As an FYI, my city 7 already now exists. That's the one I had THH settle and gift over to me this past turn.
Numbering error - I should have said:

Okay, conference is over.
Well, I guess the pictures I took last turn are irrelevant now that HAK has played another turn for me since. Just to clarify the confusion about where I was sending that settler (er, sorry, I meant to respond to this earlier but evidently forgot while I was writing my post), I checked back in here before playing the turn, saw we had agreed on the "southern city," consulted the dotmap, saw (so I believed) it was the Moai city that was being referred to, and moved the settler accordingly. Very sorry for the confusion; apparently I had mentally relegated the city that was actually meant to backfill. Where did you end up moving the settler, HAK? |
