Jungle interior, great coastline.
I'm sorry, but I fail to see how Lanun are not overpowered on this map.

Seems like a great, lush map, I'm going to have a lot of fun with it!
Thanks buddy!
Alright, I was going to say that it's a no-brainer to move east and found on the Wines, but it would seem our Settler is the super sort, so it might be a good idea to look at alternatives. Pity there are no unforested hills so I can see a snapshot of my surroundings...
If I do end up founding on the Wines, I can easily found a city SW of the Pigs to pick up the coastal tile which would remain unworked, grabbing the Fish tile thanks to the second border pop.
Tech path would be Agriculture -> Calendar -> Crafting -> Mining -> Ancient Chants -> Mysticism -> Way of the Earthmother.
If anyone is interested, I would really like a dedicated lurker, as I'm pretty sure I'll be without Civ access a couple of times in 2012.

It's a Super Settler alright, but I see no reason to change my plan:
T0 Dotmap!
And the Settings:
No Lairs, no huts, no Orthus, no Acheron, no Unique features... Hardcore!

You know what you need to do? Fire I everything that burns, and start summoning mistforms.

No, it would be hardcore if it were at Immortal difficulty...

Yes, right after I tech Medicine for the extra health.

You mean like PBEM X and XIV?
Monarch is nice though, will allow for easy expansion, and barbs should be a nuisance. I just need to get a fogbusting network up.

T7 played and sent on, Agriculture in eot.
Mist, are you getting the saves now? Do you agree with Calendar - Crafting - Mining next?
Darrell and Uberfish have both gone Worker first. Tatan surprisingly didn't. Mardoc obviously didn't either.
