Thought we were relatively civil about NAPs and such. Granted, most of the time the NAP lasts just long enough to get a knife positioned just outside your lower back, but I haven't seen a straight up NAP break.

I don't particularily need a break. Turns take just 5 minutes at the moment. However sharing the turn playing duties is good idea, so feel free to take over.

I've been away for quite some time and I'm a bit lost regarding the planning. Are we gunning for any specific wonder? I saw both TGLh and Pyramids being discussed.

About that, I think we could gun for MoM instead. I think we'd benefit a lot from a chain GA strategy (who wouldn't :neenernee), due to EXP/CRE meaning we'll probably be the team working more tiles, due to faster expansion and more pop.

In my opinion, Pyramids and TGL doesn't go too well with MoM, because their bonuses aren't boosted by GAs (rep scientists get the increased GPP at least). So maybe just expanding, aiming for a mid-game GA boost to get the Taj Mahal could be a good goal.

Guess I'm just trying to get back into the big picture and our plans without reading everything that was psoted in the last month. :neenernee

These are the only for sure items I know of:

* Rush either Pyramid or GLH (GLH requires 3rd city being to the east. Not ideal since we miss out on copper)

Is the idea to fortify our warrior on that hill?

Otherwise, isn't it better to stay put and keep our fortification bonus in the capital? If they declare, we cannot afford to risk an attack with just a single warrior anyway.

At any rate, they know we have fast workers for more or less instant chopping, plus they have three tiles to walk from our borders; the chance of catching us unprepared is zero so I really don't see why they would declare war.

As for diplo, I'd tell them who we've met and what we think the map looks like. None of that will be news to them, most likely, so no reason not to be open, and it might guilt them into replying with similar information.

Idea is to be visible so they don't need to declare to find out, if we've defenses in place or not. Also if they decide to be jerks, we're better of keeping them away from our capitals 1st ring tiles.

I also suggest we try to befriend with them and get a border deal that wouldn't give them much more than us. We're settling on other direction so we want to keep them happy enough not to settle aggresively towards us. As always we shouldn't be too pushy. Just send the greetings and ask how intrested they would be in signing a border deal and NAP.
