4-1 also has the rice in the outer ring, so they lose tempo there too. I would change both of those.

This is supposed to be natural map without mirrored starts. I feel I've already done too much mirroring with these starts. Worker coming 1T sooner or later won't decide the winner. Nevertheless I don't see this as a big issue to fix either so I guess I'm better of fixing it then.

Lewwyn is still clinging to his wrong "worker starts are faster than work boat starts because the worker keeps contributing worker turns afterwards" logic.

Little surprised no one picked vikings, dutch or portugal, all of whom add large advantages on a water map. Or is the tech pace fast enough the the carack really doesn't offer any advantage?

Well, the one start. But I guess it's lakes - they said, explicitly, the PB6 map was good, and that had a lot of naval stuff...
