Of all of them I trust the star nosed mole the most.

At least they aren't spirits animals, it's still too early in the week to get wasted. Although #6 might be hammered already.

The star-nosed mole knows of what it speaks. Disclaimer: Neither the star-nosed mole nor the other sacred animals have been known to speak in any meaningful sense.
My current theory is that each of the sacred animals represent Seven's appraisal of the player's personality as it relates to Civ4, if the numbers aren't taken out of a hat or random.org. So say the tiger might be aggressiveness, the eagle might be vision or high level planning, the wolf might be adaptiveness...
I struggle to guess the chimpanzee and the mole though. The mole is sort of like industriousness (propensity to build wonders) and the chimpanzee might be micro or something. Yes, I realize the numbers do not match Lord Parkin's personality weights at all, so maybe he just pulled them out of a hat. Whatever. I'm using this idea the next time I play a game though.
Civilization IV: 21 (Bismarck of Mali), 29 (Mao Zedong of Babylon), 38 (Isabella of China), 45 (Victoria of Sumeria), PB12 (Darius of Sumeria), 56 (Hammurabi of Sumeria), PB16 (Bismarck of Mali), 78 (Augustus of Byzantium), PB56 (Willem of China)
Hearthstone: ArenaDrafts Profile No longer playing Hearthstone.
Next up we have
![]() HitAnyKey, who I remember from PB7 as having some remarkably poor priorities. Simple variance all but guarantees that his play has improved since then, but how much? Well, he's played on a couple of teams, which could help substantially. What do the sacred animals think? 2/10 3/10 7/10 1/10 3/10In this game he took Wang Kon (FIN/PRO) of SPAIN (FISH/MYST). Spain lays de facto claim to a religion, making it a not unreasonable choice. Wang Kon seems like a good leader, providing both an early production boost as well as a sustained increase in commerce. I think there are some flaws with picking them both together, though. By accelerating early workboats and workers by a significant margin, PRO demands that you stick to essential worker technologies. Taking mysticism to start, and presumably also hoping to go for early religion, conflicts with PRO very much and I don't think that HitAnyKey will be able to benefit from the best parts of both his picks - he'll have to choose one or the other. What sayeth the sixth sacred animal of this pairing? Baaaaaa |
