I'm interested in joining one of the teams for being a ded-lurker to provide assistance regarding general plans and also some micromanagement details. I don't want to take the lead, though, because that can take up a lot of time and occasionally, I will need to have consecutive days where I have to focus on work only, without any Civ time.
Regarding experience, I've been playing Civ4 for a long time (since 2007), but haven't played that many multiplayer games. Single player is another story ... I play and micromanage a lot in single player games but that also comes with the caveat of relying on the AIs. On the other hand, I have read a lot of multiplayer games so I know how people generally play here.
Anyone interested? If it matters for timing purposes, I'm located in the United States (east coast for now, will be west coast after the summer). I would generally provide comments in the evenings after work.

Tentatively interested, haven't played MP Civ4 for years. Also, I have no idea what RtR is.

I'd certainly be interested in teaming up - I do have the time to play turns regularly and it would be very helpful to have an experienced teammate. I do have some MP experience, but I can't say I'm all that familiar with the RtR mod.

Welcome to the new folks to the forum.
Recap of interested teams:
1. wetbandit & ipecac
2. Gawdzak (if pitboss)
3. OT4E
4. DTG + picklepikki
5. Borsche
6. dcodea (TBS backup?)
7. Nicolea Carpathia (maybe)
8. StarDoor
9. GSorel/DMOC
I think 8-12 is a good number for a PB. If you're on the fence or still want to play, I'd say it's time to commit.
Greenline, thank you (and whomever else may help) for volunteering to make a map.

Well, DTG hasn't said anything, so I'd put myself in the "maybe" category of team four.
Nice to see this shaping up, in any event

just to be clear I would I have to install RtR to make a worldbuilder save compatible with RtR?

Happy to have you.
edit:
@all/anyone: is there a changelog for RtR mod 2.0.7.4, or at least a list of changes compared to RtR 2.0.7.6 ?

It's possible to edit the number of civs in the wb file in notepad to make it compatible, but it's easier to install the mod.
You should know for map balance that whales are accessible with sailing and camps and pastures are switched over. I don't think any other changes are important for map making.
Completed: RB Demogame - Gillette, PBEM46, Pitboss 13, Pitboss 18, Pitboss 30, Pitboss 31, Pitboss 38, Pitboss 42, Pitboss 46, Pitboss 52 (Pindicator's game), Pitboss 57

@DTG: There's no fistbump or handshake emote, so I guess I'll recycle .
Also: Oh, huh, this isn't the most recent 2.x version of RtR from the sticky thread? I'm... not even sure where to obtain 2.0.7.4.
