Is that character a variant? (I just love getting asked that in channel.) - Charis

RBP7 [SPOILERS] - The Chronicles of Nyania

Do we have the option of taking the city with multiple chariots this turn? I thought we didn't.

We can take it with one and immediately reinforce it with another, yes.

Oh, I didn't think we could go in with two this turn. Then I think we should keep it. He wont be able to take it back.

If he decides to attack with his spear, hopefully it'll get damaged and wont be too much of a problem to kill off.

Right... though we'll almost certainly lose another Chariot, possibly 2 if we're unlucky, or 3 if we're really really unlucky. Still, might be worth it for the city I guess.

Judging by the new city name, maybe it was a misclick?

That's not the explanation TT gave.

That's a mistake, but not a misclick. To me, a misclick is where you mean to give one order but accidentally give another, e.g. due to a twitchy finger. Here, TT apparently meant to do exactly what he did, but realised afterwards that it wasn't a good idea. The action and the intent match up for a mistake, but not for a misclick.

Still not completely sure on whether to keep the city and (probably) lose 1-2, maybe 3 Chariots, or just raze it and keep them. Think I'll sleep on it... any final opinions/arguments either way are welcome.

I say keep it. The sacrifice will be worth it if you count settler hammer cost I guess.

Question to the lurkers: Does anyone remember the rules about when barbarian animals disappear? Is it a fixed turn, or do they hang around on the map until they're killed? I seem to recall a fixed turn, but I'm not sure. Would be good to be reminded. smile

Just noticed I haven't seen any animals around in a little while...
