Is that character a variant? (I just love getting asked that in channel.) - Charis

Changed Tech ingame

Yes, we'll probably get an additional strong production tile in the iron as well.

Few things:

HAK used his GProphet to build the Mahabodhi. I know bulbing with the GP isn't easy and if he can get his religion to many other players - which will want it in this big pitboss - he can make a ton of gold. So that probably was his best move. Still I'm not sure - even as PHI - if it is worth it to do this. The Oracle itself is nice but his score is inflated by 32 points due to his wonders, which right now don't do much for him and without those points he has even less score then we do, despite gaining a tech (most likely 2nd tier, so ~14 points) for free.

Given 2 points don't sound much, but each pop is only 1 point in this massive pitboss, so small differences can actually be pretty big, if empires are technologically equal. Which we all should be more or less at this point.

Also we found taotaos city. He produces a lot of culture in general, not sure if that is only because he is CRE though. Do we know who got Stonehenge?

Some screenies as well, so that Gaspar might make a comment again:

dtay built Stonehenge. taotao has one more city than us (until we plant Blingtron next turn) so I would expect him to be producing more culture, yes.

Looks like taotao, Donovan and Borsche researched Iron Working in the last few turns judging by the power spikes. Which is good since it's cheaper for us now!

Gaspar told me he's reading but he's too lame to comment, apparently. :P

I read them all but you guys don't really report, you just basically have gchat over the thread so its too much work to pay enough attention to add value. I'll continue to read but you should continue to expect this level of contribution.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

True Gaspar. I'll see if I can formulate a few more reports than in the last weeks going forward.

Bah, we forgot to switch over to working the deer at Overspark for the last two turns.

So yeah, I feel like I can't micro early midgame anymore because settlers can't be whipped. Ugh.

Huh? Settlers can still be whipped, you just lose 10h on a double-whip...

My basic worker plan for next while...

Pagle worker roads to northwest city spot (Mogor the Ogre).
Blingtron workers finish the current cottage for Overspark, then cottage 1E for 1t, before finishing the plains hill mine for the capital.
Capital worker plus Blingtron workers chop/mine the jungled gold for Pagle after the plains hill mine for the capital before transitioning to do stuff for Mogor, like chopping a monument and granary.
Capital builds new worker for itself after growing to 5.
Overspark's new worker builds cottages for itself.
Murk-Eye worker moves NE-SE-SE to road the tile SE of the city so that it can get to the gold afterwards, and to start the road towards the marble.
