We are pretty sure that Krill has Oracled SOMETHING, which at this point, seems to be going Alphabet. Does anybody consider Monarchy? I know that some teams joined Krill's little super-alliance just for Alphabet, but its possible he's lying, and that Alphabet will be via fast self teching, with an pretty much unlimited happy cap, that could be totally wrong. (probably)

We'll see, and I'm going to watch the event log.

Question to Ref/MM and lurkers: If you haven't offically seen Krill, can you still see what he revolts to? I think no, but I'm hoping yes.

I'm not sure he's oracled anything yet, but he has the tech to do it now it appears. It'll happen any turn.

You can't "see" it as a message, no. He's spiritual as well, so he doesn't have to suffer anarchy.

Has anyone seen Exploit's post in the IT thread for RBP3. It's AMUSING, to say the least. You mean Incan, one of our more closer allies attacking Aztec, a major player in the "Hydra" has NOTHING to do with you. What I understand is that you are right next to India which is next to Aztec/Incan which is next to Incan/Aztec, so even without the whole 2 major alliances thing, it STILL affects you.

Eh, I have enough to worry about without worrying about that. Cull, if you're still here can you hop onto chat for just a second? I want to ask you something.

My second correction was half wrong in my Krill post: He gets the first border pop at city 2 the turn after founding Hinduism (culture from holy city is applied on the same turn it's founded). So he got 20-turn-delay land points THIS turn. He did NOT land the Oracle yet. (That would be 16 points).

That's next turn or the turn after, I'll bet. And he's oracling Alphabet, guaranteed. This turn, he got a 12-point increase, and that means in addition to the land points, he landed a tech. That'll be writing. Not as elegant as I hoped he'd make it (it would have been so beautiful to see a 28-point score increase on civstats, followed in rapid fire on the same turn by the further 6-point increases we'll see after he does land oracle), but in spite of hating what he and his allies have done to RBP3, I tip my hat. Krill, if you ever read this after the game is over: Well played.

Well, I went to bed last night with the intention of ending our turn, but when I woke up this morning there were 4 minutes left on the clock... didn't see the point of racing to beat the timer at that point. Anyhow... Exploit was on and contacted me about making the move and other stuff. Since he'd agreed via email while I was asleep that we should not attack the suspected Indian city unless we had overwhelming odds to raze it, and since he was surprised we did not see Indian boarders, I aggreed to move the chariot so that we could see over the lake, and...

We have since moved 1W. There is a hill 2SW from there that we can use to see the city. More shortly, chatting with Exploit.

While we're here: Microplan anyone? I don't think this is what we'll actually do - partly because I'm hoping we'll get Alpha, Hunting, and IW from our allies at some point, and those could change these plans significantly. If we can actually have all three by turn 69 (might want to delay hunting, actually, even though that's insane) we might be able to hook up the silver soon enough to seriously revise this plan. It's also ... uh ... kinda short on military. Some might regard this as ... a problem. It's also not nearly as good for our civ's development in the long term as the plan that got us Math on T77. This might be better overall though because of the extra two turns of Math for our friends.

PLEASE DON'T JUST FOLLOW THIS MICROPLAN WITHOUT CONSIDERING THE STRATEGIC ALTERNATIVES! IT MIGHT BE BETTER TO ASSIGN THE WORKERS DIFFERENTLY EVEN ON T59!!!

All that said...

WARNING: MASSIVE WALL OF POSSIBLY SUB-OPTIMAL MICROTEXT AHEAD! (Now with twice the misspellings and oversights!)
(No, I haven't gotten nearly enough sleep lately; why do you ask?)

Toulouse moves 1SE to the same floodplains and cottages (cancel orders each turn for the same reason). Marie and Berlioz move 1E to another river grassland and cottage. Chmeee moves 1E to a river plains tile, roads, and CANCELS orders. Toulouse completes his cottage. Marie move 2NE to a river grass hill. Berlioz and Duchess move 1E-1NE to Miamar's river grassland, cottage, and CANCEL orders. Pride Rock works cow+hamlet+cottage+cottage.

T72: Miamar moves 1SW to a river plains road. Chmeee moves 1NE to a floodplain, cottages, and CANCELS orders. Toulouse moves 1NE to Miamar's river plains road, irrigates, and CANCELS orders. Sent this to India.

Quote:Greetings oh people of India. Salthi, our drunken charioteer, has noticed your cute little civilization. Are you good dj's. Do you play classic rock, or do you play crap like Brittney and Hanna Montana or... god forbid... country? Surely Indian's wouldn't play cowboy music?

Anyway, he was thinking of dropping by to have a look for himself, but we convinced him not to. After all, we wouldn't want to commit a diplomatic faux-paw on first contact now would we?

We've been wandering the world in search of gourmet mice, but so far, haven't found anyone who claims to have some? Do you? If so, we'd really like to be friends. We've recently acquired some cows, and would be willing to trade milk (both whole and 2%) if this is agreeable to you. Let us know at your earliest conveniece. In the meantime...

Have a Mice Day!

Will look over the micro and post the days chats in about 6hrs. gotta run.

I recorded something incorrectly on the microplan above. Will try to update before I have to leave; have to detect the source of the problem first.

EDIT: Problem was tiles worked T62. Fixed.
