Old Harry / Carthage / Pin did get Taj as predicted. I think he beat me to nationalism by 4 turns and that's how many he beat me to Taj. Now mind he had a 6 pop whip behind it, so if I had teched I would have gotten. Sigh. Ah well. I guess the game continues. He looks to be trying to chain a couple of them, which as he has only had 1 before, seems very doable and scary. BTW he is up to 31 cities!!!! 3 of them I know were replacements (not same spots for 2), but he fit two extra somewhere
What to tech next. I really wanted to take a detour up to democracy for those civics if I got Taj. I'm still thinking about burning anarchy for them......... / starting Statue of Liberty. I would be willing to bet Pin will go for after rifles. Although obvioius line is to go for factories. Go economics first to grab the merchant there. With the free great spy and the free great scientist later on (after assembly line), I can actually get a 4 person golden age with whatever is produced from Pancakes and then use that to go get democracy. Factories and infantry would be very nice.
As far as civic swaps at end of this golden age. Free speech seems obvious as most of the river valley is at or very near towns. I think some queues are going to fill with military again, so I think Free religion as well? I might honestly switch them this turn after 1 last rd of drafts. Big question for free speech is how much more infrastructure I'll build vs military. Obviously having it for a rd of factories would be nice, but just getting to factories earlier would also be nice. I might create a wish list later for what I want to build in each city.
I can't hurt OH on offense and he won't be able to hurt me for a while even with my army off and about until he gets a good force of rifles. Time to make use of mine then right?

Who's the target? You could pretty feasibly declare war on almost every other player in the game

Decided on Free Speech but not Free Religion. Here is my current stack. Jowy has like 1 rifle per tile out near his front, but main stack is congregating on copper.

Well Jowy and Charriu made peace. That is interesting........ I was going to hit Jowy. Unsure why Charriu took that peace. There is only 1 place left for my stack to go now........ Now mind I have to worry about Jowy stabbing me with his rifle stack, which is what I was trying to avoid.........
Anyways realized I never did a turn 200 overview. Here is my infrastructure building empire. Some of the queues will go back to military, but I'm woefully behind in grocers, observatories, and universities, which is why I wanted to stay in organized. Still unsure of tech path, but you can see my tentative.

So the plan was take out Jowy's army while I can hit it with siege. Then attack Charriu, while attacking Charriu Jowy would empty his backlines to the front. I raze 5 of his core cities from the sea. The whole reason I haven't gone after Charriu until now is I didn't want a strong Jowy on my border, I guess I'll have to make due with the situation as is though...... I need the extra land. I still have those 5 galleons heading over in case Jowy decides to intervene........
Invading Charriu next turn. I should take 4 cities in first two turns. Totally forgot to cancel trades last turn  ; luckily only 1 whip, so hopefully i won't be too punished for not cancelling his iron. Had my 2nd child playing around me at the time.

Hey, could definitely be worse. In 49 my thirdborn decided to boop the buttons to take my ENTIRE ARMY exactly backwards from the front line.
