Well, SD declared, burned MorningEdition and asked for a cease-fire. Krill - if there is one thing we need is an ability to save a peace offer and accept it after taking a look, if we take no offensive action. There is no way I could take it without looking, of course - I knew he took a city, and I thought it was MorningEdition, but I wasn't sure.
I looked around and I'm not really in position and a cease-fire doesn't enforce peace, anyway, so I re-offered. he has a settler ready to plant.
He also killed a worker near WaitWait, which was pretty rude.
I switched into Bureau, Police State and Theocracy. Will 1 turn Lit and get music in 5, kick off a GA, go Machinery.
He's going Feudalism next - he'll get there before I get to Machinery, I assume, but then, a stack of maces/elephants/cats will take anything, anyway. Add in some super crossbows.
MrCairo had offered fish for fish, which I re-offered. I can't see any indication of actual fighting with Krill.
Pics later.

You should be able to move around via the mini-map and use that to judge if you should accept a peace deal/other deals.

Lost in that is that Krill conquered GKC.
I presume he (GKC) overextended himself early - maybe planted where Krill wanted to go and garrisoned with a warrior. These tight maps are kind of tough.

Well, that was kind of a dick move by SD - he took another worker. I took the offered deal. I mean, it's not a big deal, but that's one reason why we need a way to re-offer peace deals if you don't do anything. I checked around in the minimap, but it's not really great.
He's now researching Machinery, which is a problem, but he's at 100% and he had to save up to 800 gold to start the research. I'm 4 turning music and running a profit. I go for machinery after music. My guess is he is going to guilds for Knights. My counter on that will be Machinery->Engineering for pikes. If he can go straight to Guilds at 100%, I'll have a problem for a short period. I'll have an idea if he can do that or not. My guess is not, but I'll have a better idea next turn when I see how much gold he's burned. He doesn't have Feudalism.
Taking out SD will be an exercise in overwhelming him with hammers and outteching him, which I should be able to do.
Debating running a Golden age with the music artist or bombing TedRadio, which will mess up his new city.
Screwed up in AllThings - I had set up a catapult to finish this turn and open up Heroic Epic, but cats only get 9 xp, not 10. So, I am overflowing into an HA and will build the HE after that. *sigh*

The minimap thing works better with a higher resolution screen, the other option currently is to press the f-keys to see cities or armies and try to figure things out from there.

Turn 138
SD's cat stack:
His new city:
too bad I don't have a bunch of horse archers - I could kill most of those keshiks.
Huh. I think that if I culture bomb TedRadio, I might be able to flip Titan nearly immediately. Now THAT would be funny.

One of the interesting things about my civ is that a GA doesn't help me as much as you might think. Yes, it helps, but I'd only gain about 45-50 hammers. Obviously, OnPoint would do the best, with all the Moai tiles.
That said, in 30 turns or so, that will likely be different. I have a fair amount of tiles to continue to improve - course, now I have 2 fewer workers.
Getting the music artist is still the right thing to do, in the least to deny it to either SD or Krill. Plus, it can worry SD.

I have a plan for striking back at SD, at least in the short term. It's a 12 turn plan or so.
A) Get Music GA. Culture Bomb TedRadio. This will put Titan in risk of being flipped, since the tile already has a lot of my culture on it, anyway.
B) Mass a force near Titan to draw his units there.
C) Research Machinery->engineering
D) Hit Mars with fast movers along combat roads. Reinforce it with another stack or just raze it. I think I'd prefer to raze it, since he'll have a strong force
E) Depending how he reacts, kill Titan.
F) perhaps kill his southern silver/fur city, I dunno.
It's hard to imagine i'll be able to HOLD those cities at this point. I think I need at least knights and probably curiassers to take him out - or a massive battle where I kill a huge stack. Problem is, of course, that I have to defend 2 fronts where he would be central and I don't have a larger army than he does as of yet.
An alternate to culture bombing TedRadio is to culture bomb Mars and reinforce it. instant 60% culture defense!! I suspect that works better against an AI than it does against a human opponent with a lot of 3 promo keshiks, though.
On GP:
I have 15 turns till a Great Person in AllThings - most likely it's an engineer, but it could be a prophet or an artist. If it's an engineer, I have to think long and hard about whether I want to use it for a tech, a wonder or a GA. A prophet or an artist would almost certainly kick off a GA. An engineer might pick up MoM.
