Gg B4ndit, feel free to stop by.
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow.
In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."-Old Harry. PB48.
Accidentally clicked on plako's thread when boredly watching the pot. Luckily he hasn't posted in ages and I backed out without seeing anything.
Completed: RB Demogame - Gillette, PBEM46, Pitboss 13, Pitboss 18, Pitboss 30, Pitboss 31, Pitboss 38, Pitboss 42, Pitboss 46, Pitboss 52 (Pindicator's game), Pitboss 57
In progress: Rimworld
Is B4ndit spoiled yet? Can he take over for Joey?
I am 100% okay with people in turnsplits asking for pauses, by the way, but I think if there's no request we should let it roll.
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.
I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out.
I think we should consider lengthening the turn before we go quite that far. Joey typically plays late evening (US) but because of when the turn rolled yesterday it wouldn't reach his usual window anyway. While this is foreseeable, he has needed similar turnsplit-related pauses often enough recently that I don't see a need to hold a requirement that he posts asking for one each turn.
Maybe adding 6-8hrs to the turn duration would stop us worrying about pauses ... after all, we knew going into the game that it was a matter of when not if the turn time would get longer. |
