Thanks for the log, Cornflakes. Also in case that might be relevant to others, you are using the steam version of Civ4. I assume you OH use steam too?
Other than that I found something that is not right back in that version. Hopefully this already solves it.

I enabled logging and disabled caching and I've PMed you the dump file.
Edit: And now I'll try the new version. I don't think I use the steam version. Can't remember.

I can load RtR_5.1.0.1, but I'm getting crashes in (almost) every game. I turned on autoplay to test quickly. I start custom game with random leader and civ. Out of 11 trial games, 8 crashed to desktop, and three made it past T500 when I aborted. In reviewing the logs I noticed a pattern after the first couple games ... the last line in MPLog.txt file was always "AI Consider Nuke", so I started copying that last line to another file for comparison after the first couple:

I found and fixed the bug you send me in a PM. I suspect that this might be the same bug here. Best test the next version

The bug in question always happened when the barbs attacked a unit outside one of their cities

Hopefully that solves it  , although one of the crashed happened on T20 which seems early for a barb city to have appeared and an enemy move next to be attacked. If you post the next version I’m happy to run a few more autoplays.
