A few Questions:

* is that our 3rd city, or do we have more now??
* what did we do to Inca to get on their hit list??
* Whats the size of our army as it stands now??
* What are the rules regarding the Save File on the PBEM tracker?? - Am i alowed to D/L and look at the game on the understanding that i cannot move anything, or is it best to just leave it all alone? I ask because it would be easyier to see whats happening if we had afew more screenies to work with.

This is our third city, we have an NAP with Malakai, but he thinks we broke it.

Malakai, NAP breaker FTW!rolleye

It was a weed mistake. He says it was a move to get the gold, that city. In retrospect, a one-warrior guarded city in the mouth of the Incan dragon wasn't smart. He says if I place even 1 tile west, I would be safe. Bull. He's just wants war. If he wants it, so be it. I'm not pushing.

Regardless to what Sullla, and Speaker, and all the high level good players say, this is a green game, and I"m going to chase after Malakai with an army of axes.

smoke-Uh huh, thats right.

Problem is, I kind of told Kyan.

He can do two things:

1) Attack me with loads of chariots expecting axes
2) Tell Malakai
3) Actually help me

3 won't happen, 2 is possible, but 1 is a big YES.

Plan. Get a couple axes(4-5), and keep a couple spears as a just in case from Kyan.

Am I paranoid? YES. Am I making smoke? YES.

Adlain, convince me of a different plan.

1 word - Bugger
I agree that the City is a smigin (read: Along) away from our core, but unless we had a border agreement i see no problem with that placment for the gold. but 1 warrior was alittle baiting if we knew that he had a city right next door.
Id like to know the terms of the NAP we signed with malakai as to determine what we have done to warrent being told we have broken said agreement (prehaps you could give me access to the E-Mail acct or forward it to AdlainRB@GMail.com so i can read the agreement)

heh, if we are under attack (or expect an attack) now is not the time to worry about what is proper or nesserceraly the optimum play. The aim must be to defend our Civ to the best of our abilities and from what you have said, we need Axes and we need them yesterday. are Axes and Spaers the best we can manage? if we have a settler i would be tempted to settle on the horse 5E of our capital and start spamming out chariots alongside our axes. I know the city isnt a particualy good sit, but with pigs in the 1st ring, Corn in the second and a bucketload of Forrests to chop with a combination of the whip and chops we could pump out afew chariots that i think would certainly help us.

Umm - this part i dont get. Do you mean that diplomaticly you told Kyan too much about the impending attack from malakai and those are your projected options he has or did you get a threat from kyan (veiled or otherwise) and these are again projected actions??

Not that it matters i suppose, how far away is his nearest city?? did he expand towards us or to the east. if he went east, i think minimal defences need to be left and we concentrate on the inca. if north towards us then id suggest we contact him diplomaticly and see about a boarder arangment with a short term NAP included (say 25 - 50 turns) to allow us to concentrate in one direction. If we sudjest the nap as part of the boarder arangment we can word it as a "we see you as freinds and hope to work closly with you in the future" as aposed to asking for a nap on its own that i see as readind "We fear for our safty and think your a threat"

tl;dr: Let him raze it. Paranoia combined with self-interest made me realize this was smoke. If he had metal, horses, or archery tech, I'm screwed. Therefore, peace and a border agreement that "favors" him, and letting him raze my city. I'll make a map of a "fair" agreement after I play the turn.
