Yeah that's fine. The restriction is only relevant for this game's particular forum. So don't read any of the other threads in this forum(except the tech thread) but feel free to get spoilered in any others.
Would you like me to forward the latest save to you? If so just PM me your email. Tasunke Wrote:interesting ... as I also played the 6th turn XD
I wonder which save Lewwyn got He would have both, but I wonder which he used. We should post here whenever we play a turn to avoid any confusion, at least until a tracker gets set up. Quote:anyways, in my turn, the scout went to the hill, and the the other scout went back north west, and may die to a spider
how did your version of turn 6 go?
Eh, a little different. This is why we should be careful to play each turn only once. Quote:in anycase, I wonder if a name schema based off of Warhammer 40k would be fun?
although I'm cool for Hundred Years War as well. Maybe name a good unit Jeane D'Arc or something
Either is fine with me. I'm not familiar with Warhammer so you'd have to come up with the names. Quote:(as a side note, you know I won't be able to play turns 7, 8, and possibly 9?) I think I mentioned it earlier, but just in case. Having a baby today/morrow? n all
Yeah that's fine.
Congratulations, btw.
I'm not completely sold on going for festivals next. Calendar isn't so great on this map and an RoK beeline might be stronger.

I haven't played any MP for FFH2 but have played a LOT of the single player in many different mods. Currently I'm messing around in the base FFH2 with the latest patches (forgot to grab the pyre zombie fix which really sucks considering I'm playing as Sheaim) and also playing as the Sheaim in the RifE mod. You may be able to see why I asked if I could ded lurk your team.
Given that you don't have summoner it may not be as strong but when I've played the Sheaim, the adept spam with as many death nodes as possible for the spectre spam has worked out pretty darned well. You should try to produce some adepts while you still have arcane. Spectres are great for attacking but mobility spectres ROCK for defense.

Laptop about to run out of power so I'll make this fast.
Edit: laptop did die. But now I have a charger, and so I can send this message XD
(message)
My tower died ... as in hard error, black screen dead. Might be recoverable if I find a miracle worker, but not likely.
Will take it to best buy (sigh ... but don't have a lot more options at this point, plus its where I bout it) on Wednesday.
If that fails, my family has promised to help me shop for a new computer type thingie on Friday ... so if All goes well, I should be able to play at least next Sundays save and on from there.
(assuming of course, that it takes several days to fully get to BTS 3.19 and Fall From Heaven patch O amidst all the family visits and so forth)
In any case, sorry for the continued trouble .... but I will give this warning.
NEVER!!! trust changes that originate from the Temporary Files folder! :D
is a fact I think I will never forget. (it said win####, so eventually I was fool enough to trust one of them, of all the things to go wrong)
In any case, my Wife is still in the hospital so I don't have much time as it is. Cya later!

In any case ... as far as that game itself goes.
Markets are X hammers, vs Kilmorph gold which is C + Thane A hammers + Temple of Kilmorph B hammers
now, X hammers iirc is very much lower than A + B hammers, however there is always the C amount of initial gold for the holy city to consider.
If we are to rex along the river sites, however, I'd think that agrarian farms + elder councils and markets may be a better way to go. Now, after this, getting a non Holy City rok could still be workable.
What do you think?
// I say this also because Mining is not going to be very useful to us I think, due to the lack of forests and hills (relatively speaking). The only benefit would be copper, but I think our economy is more important, no?
In any case, I'd rather you make the decision that is more important to our economy at this time ... although if we meet a close neighbor -> going Copper Warriors + Bambur for a rush might be better. But ... if its as you say, and rushes will be less possible, we probably will not need to consider copper warriors at this time.
Sincerely,
Tasunke

Well we have several turns to make up our mind. Turn 10 was uneventful.

Played turn 12. Borders expanded at end of turn, revealing a surprise from Mist. I'm wondering if there's a way to capture that sucker...
Tasunke, let me know what you think. Right now I'm thinking we build a settler until Mysticism comes in, then adopt Godking and build some more warriors to escort the settler. We desperately need access to better land and there's no reason right now to grow the capital any further.
After Mysticism, I'd like to go directly for the Veil or Runes to get the holy city. Up to you, though, I know you mentioned festivals last time we talked about it.
The scout didn't find much to the south, but did find a major mountain range in the southeast. I'm sending the scout northeast along the edge of it toward the more fertile land we found earlier.

Turn 17 played. Mysticism is in, I selected Agriculture next and revolted us to Godking. The first settler can finish in 4 more turns, after that I think an Elder Council would be best.
Our scout is still alive in the east now, near where our second city will be. I've located two spiders and put signs on them. If possible let's wait to kill them until we can capture them. I'd like to get Animal Husbandry soon and start capturing some of these animals Mist has given us.

I think I figured out which way Mist wants us to go...
It's like the promised land, flowing with milk and honey. Yeah that settler can't come fast enough.
It even has floodplains grasslands. (remember that settling on a FP will destroy it)
Let's promote our scouts up the combat line and get AH soon so they can start capturing animals. Hidden Nationality stealth spiders are badass, and our ex scout already got one of them to combat 2 for us. If you see any more animals or barb units, remember to tag them on the map so they don't surprise us again.
