EitB 0009 Released!

Mardoc Wrote:The path to the mod for EitB should be almost the same as for FFH2 - Beyond The Sword/Mods/Erebus in the Balance, for me. In my case, the installer put the folder in the wrong spot, but moving it to the Mods folder is easy. Maybe that's the issue?

Looking in the mod folder, EitB is right next to FFH2. I can see them both. I just can't find a way to play EitB.

Most videos in FFH/EitB are slide shows. My suspicion is that the smaller FFH dl replaces those with single frame splash screens.

I think EitB videos have music where a lot of FfH ones don't as well.

@Shpoko, weird.

Hmm, well see if you can launch it with a shortcut then.

Easiest way is to take the FfH2 shortcut and copy it. Then right click on the copied shortcut and click "properties".

Then change "mod=\Fall from Heaven 2" into "mod=\Erebus in the Balance" and you should be good to go. Should probably rename the shortcut as well to avoid confusion.

Had a similar issue to Shpoko when I first installed.

Your installer is automatically pointing to a Program Files (x86) which looks close enough to normal that I didn't think twice about it. It then creates Program Files (x86) with all the appropriate subdirectories, etc. But for me, I want Program Files, no (x86). I just moved it from there to the proper folder and everything was fine, but I did miss it on the first go 'round.

Not sure if that's Shpoko's issue but figured I'd throw it out there.

That might explain why his mods directory doesn't even have the mods that come with BtS, like Afterworld and Charlemagne.
