I could see Mack trying to destroy krill's coastal capabilities, especially if he realizes how close krill is to astronomy, but then that might free up Gavagai to make his own gains, which could be counterproductive. There aren't any genuine gains to be made against anyone else but REM or CH. I guess we can look forward to that just as soon as they've got their islands colonized - Mack said 10-15 turns I think, but I reckon filling the islands will take longer than that.

If REM does something to appear unappetizing and they decide to save CH for later then to CeiliaXenu and all the blood gods we'll see that attack on krill .

I just woke up from a weird dream where Commodore got his hands on my tablet and played through a round of an old Fire Emblem game I've basically abandoned at this point. He ripped my choice of unit management in an amusing forum post and I remember not really caring because I really, really needed to find a bathroom (found one that had an odd combination of manly stand up urinals and men's room unsanctioned sewing machines --wtf?!). On the way back to a bus apparently full of a lot of you guys waiting on me I stopped to grab a beer (from somewhere? Unknown beer origin!). Then when I got to the bus somebody said "found the last one", grabbed my beer, and chucked it away (asshole!), and the bus took off like it was being chased by police or something. I'm not sure what was going to happen next because Little Tyrant almost ripped my bedroom door off the hinges announcing that he was awake, so who knows what the point of the dream was. Probably was going to end up with more people criticising my choices in a game of FE from six months ago, I dunno. Uh... Happy new year? :P

Krill seems to think Mack has the game locked up. Too early to call it, you never know what could happen.

Steel cage match, twenty something AIs enter, only one will survive. Turns are taking quite a while though so who knows how long it will take to wrap up (or to crash the server instance--it's chewing up CPU like it's going out of style. Does anyone know if Amazon throttles free AWS instances? ).

Edit: looks like Civstats can't handle the years when it starts doing the January/June thing in 2020. Oh well.

Yeah, there's plenty of life left in this game yet. I'd be pretty disappointed if REM, Serdoa, dtay, Krill, Gav, Ichabod, yuri and Barteq were willing to concede yet.

17 dead AIs, 6 remain, 5 more must die before we have a winner. Grimace is looking pretty good...except for that overflow. This thing is blooooody 600 turns in.
