Hinduism was founded, a bunch of people got score increases so it's hard to tell who got it.
Met Yuri, I could have tried to kill his scout, but I'm a nice guy.
It's a little weird that none of my three contacts(BGN,MrCairo,Yuri) have met each other.
3rd ring border expansion, discovered a pig.
By the way, that gem location is pretty awkward, it's already in my borders, but I probably won't be able to hook it up for another 30 turns. Happiness would be very useful in the next few turns. The only other happiness I have is the whales, which needs both Sailing and a workboat,I can afford neither of which right now.
Demos:
A few more people settling.

At least it makes other people not want to settle around there!

If they try, I will be taking a page out your civ playbook.

That's what all the aggressive players say.
Nothing happened, because there's another pause.
I'm not 100% sure what casual means, but it seemed to give player an excuse not to play their turns...
To be fair I would understand casual as not bothering to sim and a 25ish hour timer with no pauses unless a turn split... But that's just me.
Dog pile the constant pauser?

In my opinion, casual just means non-competitive. By competitive, I would say that there has be a ranking system and a match-making/qualifying process. Applied to the civ games here casual entails:
1) Anyone can join
2) Friendly atmosphere: don't get mad at people if they do something in game you don't like
3) Play your turns, so everyone can have fun
So by my definition, I see most of the games we play here as casual.
Regarding sims, I pretty much never sim past the completion of my 1st settler. Updating the sandbox with the world builder drives me absolutely nuts especially when rivers are involved.
In game, I just hit top food and my food will increase by 3 next turn and another 3 the turn after.
Decided to tech AH next. I didn't go for Pottery because granaries doesn't feel worth it when
1) Not PRO
2) Too much food in my 2nd and future 3rd city
3) No happiness for whipping
Brick and Nyles still haven't settle their 2nd cities, not sure what's taking them. Despite Brick being EXP and Nyles being IMP.
Actually I do know why Nyles took so long, because he grew his capital to size 4, since he's India so he's probably struggling with early game techs (India has Mysticism/Wheel, Ouch!).
Brick just whipped last turn, got to be the settler right?

Mr.Cairo is running a warrior around me, which is kind of annoying.
I lost a warrior to a barb bear at 77% odds and the bear didn't even take a hit!
My second warrior won against the bear, but I only got 1 exp from it.
Brick and Nyles finally settled.

Around is better than through, right?
Also I think casual just means no sandboxing or spreadsheets and no tryhards logging 2 hour turns.
