Is that character a variant? (I just love getting asked that in channel.) - Charis

[SPOILERS] A threesome becomes a twosome

I took a quick look in game, and I think it's still time to attack relentlessly. There's a good chance we can raze Eiesswien and Champagne. Moving back and letting them go into (or stay in) builder mode means a loss. Here's my plan:

Roads on the R tiles, cast Maelstrom from the M tile. Mow down their vampire stack, then take out Eiesswein. If Champagne is lightly guarded (likely, I think - my impression is that they're running out of units), raze it too. Most of our mages and adepts are full strength, and can probably take out badly wounded units.

Why not. However starting with few doses of Maelstrom is probably best. After roading we could move units from Napa to hill too not to be inflicted by it. I also think the tile 1S from M is better for snowfall. There are just 2 wolf riders there. Also 1 of the adepts is at 10 points. We should upgrade him to metamagic IIand finally have dispel magic. That we should have had a long time ago.

The advantage of casting Maelstrom on M is that it will also hit Champagne, possibly softening it up for some spectres later. It's probably worth sending out a floating eye to check on how much stuff is being shuttled down from the north.

Unfortunately, the 10XP adept is blinded and so can't promote, I think. We have two mages that can take promotions, though, and one of them can grab Meta II. I'd love to get Body II also, but none of the eligible units has Body I.

Body II is not that important. We shouldn't normally fight with our mages

Maelstorm from M is ok yes.

Also your 10xp Adept is ok to promote. We need just to get Meta nodes up. I'll arrange that.

Flew couple of floating eyes and Champange is way too heavily garrisoned. I'd say we really need to retreat after hammering the stacks visible a bit and make use of our double summons. Now we basically get to use only single summons killing most of our puppets when trying to kill their units.

Yet again I was proven wrong. We killed all the units in Eisswein and most of them also around. We also pillaged roads so that our stack should be pretty safe for now.

After some discussion, plako agreed to go with the all-out attack to raze Eiesswein, so we can finally get rid of that questionable spelling wink. Unless I miscounted, they can hit our stack with spectres and chariots only.

Barbs swooped in to attack the Illians, and Team 4 built Govannon.
