Yes, I left the game running when I went to bed the other night. After clicking cancel / exit diplo quite a few times and (apparently?) queuing up the action to leave that screen I left the game open with it paused. Someone came along and did the unpause / pause for me and when I woke up the next morning I was in another trade window from someone else. So evidently the unpause / repause did get me out of one trade window, only to have the next one take its place.

Calling all programmers...can we patch this out or at least roll it into a new version of RB Mod? Or would it require a .DLL fix our Mac players couldn't use? (if there are any in this game....?)

Maybe you should just remove the timer limitation, eliminating the need for pauses. I.e. extend it to one week or something.

I'm not sure, sometimes i need extra motivation to get my turn played on time. This isn't inconsistent with my personality in real life, for what it's worth. That said, my flight home is wheels up at 10 pm local time tomorrow night and goes through the night to the next afternoon, so depending on when it rolls I may need a pause. Especially if I'm dead tired when i get home. (this is supposed to be my last scheduled trip so maybe i won't need more pauses going forward.)

Yeah, that's 1:30 my time and unfortunately I will be most likely asleep at that time already. Someone else on at that time who has no trade screen? Or who has one but can log in earlier so I can unpause for them?

well apparently it does worked. logged in just now, game still paused, but trade screen is gone .
I didn't have myself logged in when serdoa paused and unpaused either!
