Thanks for the diplo update, this should be very interesting to lurk once you all get some turns finally going again
Question(s)- What military do you anticipate deploying against Cull / Adlain, and what forces will or would you encourage Stike to build vs. Jowy?
Also do you intend to gift your chariot to Strike, or will you declare war on Jowy yourself?

Oracle grab of Metal casting.... wonder where you came up with that?
Nice diplo update; remember that blood makes the grass grow!

Hey bob, welcome! Stick around because you're currently in line for City 5
Chillingworth Pass.
Cull- we're still debating. Depends a lot on him to be honest.
Strike will be going with 2 chariots, 3 axeman and 2 spearmen
I'll be defending him from potential repurcussions rather than necessarily attacking or contributing any meaningful force. As for whether i'll declare, it depends how it goes. If i think Jowy is going down properly, then i will. If Jowy has significant military, i'll try and see if i can keep a decentish relationship.
Can't be too careful.
and TT, yes, well done for inventing oracle'ing Metal Casting. (I promise i won't mention to anyone else that you even admitted to using that idea because i suggested it in PB3 :neenernee )

A city? In my namesake? What an honor :')
I'll be sure to name a cyborg after you in PBEM3. Maybe "Combine Overwatch unit 'Kyan' "
Ottos look to be a fair distance from you, and it sounds like settling toward Strike is your main priority, so I wonder if you'll either want a diversion to archery & HBR or to wait until catapults. I suspect you'll go the later route, considering that you want to research math anyway. Also, a horde of HA is a pretty one-dimensional trick; Adlain or whoever builds too many spears, and you're left with an expensive horde of fast-moving crap. Or you can just death-march 30 swords north or something.
I like your playing the angles approach toward Strike / Jowy. Convincing Strike to attack Jowy while you expand toward him and avoid any real martial commitment- that's some slick diplomacy

Haha thanks. The Babylonians already have a unit in your name actually! I'm just naming them after random RB people. In this game, i'm starting with people i know well and moving outwards.
Orennaà Manor = RefSteel
Marshall Mines = Maniac
Twinkletopolis = TT (duh which is our next commerce town)
Whosits Climb, Chillingworth Pass (or maybe Peak?) and Sleeping Mountain are the 'border' cities with Cull in the mountain range = whosit, Bob and moogle. That's if Maniac lets me have 3 up there hehe.
As for the diplo comment, thanks
Trying my best.

I'm actually much sicker today than I was yesterday, and unlike most of the US base around here, I have to work all weekend, so I don't anticipate feeling better till at least Monday. I'm sick enough I'd ask for a pause in PB3 if it wasn't down and Morgan wasn't available, so it might be in your best interest to line someone else up to play just in case.

Sorry to have failed so epically in your absence. I do have a fully functional computer now that it's too late to matter

You didn't fail at all. Fate conspired against you and you kept people informed which is all i would ever ask for.
Genuinely, thank you.
Now, take a poke around and let's see if we can't continue our dominating start?

I'll see if I can get time to look this over later today. I'm going out of town for 2 days, so if I'm not exhausted from the drive, tonite at the hotel seems good to me.
