RBP3: Joao of Inca [SPOILERS]

Nakor Wrote:I think we can gamble almost safely with scouting.
If you really feel we need more protection, then just build another Quecha before the worker. We'll still do fine then.

I think Sausage should move anti-clockwise to uncover all the nearby land before going deeper. That way we can still keep building the worker and feel relatively safe.
Now's our chance though, if we don't go deep now then we probably won't get another shot at anyone's undefended capital and a free worker. Even if we go deep a bit, we could turn back and still unfog that area east/southeast of our capitol before we're ready with our first settler.

This is a pretty good point I think. Lets try taking him a few more deep and then come back and defog that land. If we can stumble upon somebody now that would be the easiest way to free up some land.

My apologies... I moved Sausage NE. I somehow missed Jowy's post and only saw Nakor's about moving anti-clockwise. I am ok with trying to move back S I guess, but I am a bit uncomfortable about leaving the capital empty. I feel that any turn now someone would stumble on us.

Hot Dog should definitely go NW next turn onto the hill.

Sausage I'm torn. I'd go either NE or SE.

Anybody else?

I agree on Hot Dog going NW, and I would vote for Sausage to go NE. Again, sorry for moving him the previous turn without noticing that we were still debating.

The land uncovered so far is not shining. We have no obvious second city, and I would like us to find a good 2nd city spot before going deep with the quechuas.

I agree with Kalin, let's go NE with Sausage.

Yeah might as well do that now.

Found some floodplains (River was visible from terrain bleeding anyways). Gold and floodplains sounds like a good spot for a commerce city. We should head west on the hill next.

Here's a small overview for lurkers. Seems like this map will have less food than RPB2 one, but more happiness resources.

Hey guys,

I played the turn. Moved Hot Dog W revealing some more Flood plains. Around that gold looks to be a solid 2nd city.

Moved Sausage NE and revealed a stone. Too far away for a 2nd city site but the land around their isn't terrible.

There are a lot of floodplanes near the gold, so we could build a great commerce city there.

Shall we go for the production city SE first or shall we go for the commerce site?
