I think TT has reserved Ghandi

I would probably prefer the Fin leader, and leave you to be the attack dog, but I don't mind too much

Oh and out of the Fin choices, my vote would probably go India, for the workers obviously, but I was also thinking about the mauselums.

Obviously happy is always handy, but as a side effect we get more EP. Do you think hiding our graphs would provide much benefit or are we playing teams that will just do enough C&D to work out the soldier points etc anyway?

EDIT: I will resist the triple post.

Is anybody on our team likely to be running C&D?

Mausoleums are banned.

Ahh good point, hadn't spotted that.

Jkaen probably meant India's UB Mausoleum and you can build them without limitations.

Thanks Plako I did indeed.

Another thing to note is we are focussing on medieval UU units. I have no idea how a multi team medieval game goes, but would it be worth taking a slightly later UU (spain/russia/england?) as one of the options incase everybody avoids early wars as tends to happen here in ancient starts?

This is completely different. I would be hideously surprised to see Knights pass us by without massive uberstacks.

Rifling is too far down the tech tree to base our defensive/offensive strategy around it.

I think we can rule out Hammurabi of HRE as the difficulty isn't high enough.

By the same measure, I think Cyrus of Mongolia is locked in.

My worry about having Pacal and Gandhi is that we have 2 full on econ guys with absolutely no bonuses to warmongering which the game will eventually resort to

Ok, lets look at our SE first. I think its decided you are handling it, are you confident that you want Spi? If so I say we lock Gandhi and choose the civ you prefer (I would probably go Arabia).

Then with 2 locked it may make it easier to focus on #3
