I think the city deal Plako offered is really fair and I think we should accept it. I'm running around 3 PCs today so I don't have the game in front of me to vote for exact spots, just remember I like hill cities with few adjacent tiles and no adjacent hills

Okay - I replied back to plako
Quote:Plako,
We accept your offer in principle - I want to confirm with sunrise about exact placements but in principle we agree
We don't need to decide the exact spots this second so I'll wait till you're around to decide

And apparently we should have revolted 2 turns ago, back when we only had 16 cities, as from this article, 16 is the most cities you can have on a Huge map / Normal speed to revolt 2 civics with 1 turn of anarchy. HR would cost us another turnn, so I hold off on that - just revolt to OR. That's ... annoying

And we follow that up with Turn 128, in which we revolt to Buddhism. The people are gettin' ANGRY!

Sent an email to everyone stating that I wouldn't be making any moves on plako here since the response was underwhelming.
Also sent this to nakor

I know we hadn't talked about it but generally I was under the impression that most folks just evened things out enough to see demographics (43 ep). I understand you've got some courthouses up so maybe you've already got everyone's graphs now.
We're just finishing up one last person's graphs and then our plan was to put our EPs on you to get graphs and then put them on plako. As middle of the pack civs it doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense to spend EPs on each other, unless there's some sort of secret thing going on somewhere? If you keep putting EPs on us, then we'll have to keep putting EPs on you to match, and that won't get us very far? Seems like there must be a better way

Quote:We did indeed see that you needed a zillion turns before finishing HBR. We've switched our EP's to SleepingMoogle now to get his techs in sight.
We indeed do have all graphs now and are targetting other then neighbours first to get tech visibility.
If you like the idea, we can share what we know about teching from others.
Luddite is currently 1t away from Currency.

Turn 129 played and in the books, and it's nice to actually have things to do!
Whipped our first forge in Vine - it will overflow into a settler, whip that in a few turns and then build our first market.
Our next city will be founded in 2 turns, and by my count I have 6 (ish) settlers needed after that - 1 more in the SW, 4 in the north, 1 in the SE near plako, the city that WK is "guarding" for me, and then 2 iffy sites (1 in the SE near plako, 1 in the far east near Moogle).
I'll be whipping 2 more forges next turn, and the big news of the day is that with a Buddhist missionary whip and a chop, I'll have Moai Statues complete in Hamilton in 3 turns (EOT131)

Since just about when the city was built. It slow built (working the copper) a granary, monument and workboat and then whipped a lighthouse and since then it's been pretty much Moai or workers and settlers whipped into Moai.
I BELIEVE that we will be the first to have Moai - you can see the water hammers if you have resource yields on (even for other players), and I have not seen it, though of course I don't have visibility on all of everybody's coast.
