Just played Turn 083. Hardly worth a pic, it's all the same as before. Nakor's still stumbling around our workers by the gems city - I half expect him to try to snipe our unprotected worker next turn and then realize we're still in enforced peace. Good news is they don't seem to be building more units, just being antagonizing with the ones they have.
Started libraries in Red Wings and Bulldogs for border pops and because we plan on these being commerce focused cities. I'm not sure if I build a library, a settler, or a unit in the capital after the galley finishes.
Lewwyn has passed us in power. That can't be good news for Azza, but we need to keep an eye on him. We'll have a border soon, even if it's a small one.
Oh, and Black Sword thankfully took peace. Galleys are doing their thing.

Turn 084
New turn! Let's see how the galleys are doing.
We're just getting beyond the edge of Black Sword's map knowledge. And whoever gets to settle that spot between the corn and the rice is gonna get a monster production city. Nice little moai island in the bay too...
The islands are big. In fact, if I zoom out a bit, this looks like a continuation of the same island that's just offshore Lewwyn.
Workers! What are we gonna do with you?
* Red is going to jump on board that new galley next turn and then head to the island.
* Yellow is going to do some combination setting up our marble city & improving the capital. Really, the capital has enough tiles right now to work improved tiles at max size, so maybe it doesn't need any more worker turns until we're gearing up for chopping MoM. I guess we could do a little pre-chopping though...
* Green are working on the western cities. Although again, we're going to max out on workable tiles pretty soon, at least until we get Calendar. So I was thinking we get a quick settler and send him north for the incense. Shitty food, but it's another happy resource.
* Blue is hooking up the gems and improving Tigers. Hopefully we can trade gems for gold with Commodore after that.
No, i've not planned any of this out. Not been in a planning mood, but I really need to be. Time's getting close

FISHIES.
Great news. Black Sword offered horse for copper. Eh, this sounds way more appealing:
Let's see how bad he wants it. Also met suttree. Offered a map trade.
How in the world does he only have 3 cities?! So Black Sword has 3, and he's apparently lost 2 AND built a wonder, so wow is suttree a mess in this game. That's odd too, because he's been pretty fantastic in PB11, so I had high expectations for him this game. I'm wondering if he lost a city/settler early? I don't know. Thought I would have seen a city loss on Civstats, but it's possible I missed it, I guess. Here's his newest city:

I actually think suttree is overrated now after interacting with him more. He misinterprets a number of things and doesn't really listen to people because he is generally on the overconfident side.

Scooter, I am going to need you to take more a lead role soon. I'm going to be focused more on moving to a new place and getting this house cleaned up. And I'm pretty sure my roommates are going to ditch it all on me.

The other annoying thing about not getting the gold city is that we're cut off from the island to the west there. There's a nice juicy sheep/oasis/fish spot and a decent sheep/iron spot too...

Yeah shouldn't be a problem, I've been gradually starting to see a drop in RL obligations. I don't think I'll be going anywhere for a couple months.

So I swear I'm not responding negatively JUST because you didn't like my first desire for aggression ... But I was thinking more like lay claim to all the juicy eastern island(s) while tech-wise pushing for our UU, then Zerking Nakor off our super galleys. Also eliminates the need to build stables early.
Though I guess it depends on what date range we're talking here.

Here's a thought: if we plan on filling those eastern islands then let's build the Great Lighthouse in the capital
