I was able to play my turn since it didn't come to us until tonight. Not much to report. Ended turn, then whipped my Granary. Next up will be a Dog Soldier.
Old Harry, my screenshot in the Demo's folder is from after I whipped.

Hey HAK, sorry I wasn't able to play for you like I said; I thought the save would come during the day, but it came in the evening when I was out.
Report coming tomorrow (another rather late turn today), including what's-their-faces' graphs. I'm sure that'll make Old Harry happy.

Hey guys, I'm having an unusually busy day today; I think I'm going to have to wait till late tonight to do any reporting. Sorry about that; I'm trying to keep you guys well-updated so we can all discuss, but last-night-to-today has really not been the day. Talk to you tonight,
THH

Also guys, while there is a lul, in the action, we still have to decide on if we are going to make the lurker thread

And with T25, every team has now met every other team....Seven ran into my scout this turn, and as I went past him I see Shoot the Moon's borders:
After I ended turn, the granary completed and I grew. Next turn I'll work the 3 food tiles. Turn after that, I'll switch the Rice to the Mine that just completed so that on that turn I'll grow & make my first Dog Soldier. After that I'll make another worker since at that time I'll be at size 4 and using all 4 of my at that time improved tiles.
With my current worker, am I best roading towards THH, pre-chopping some of those forests, or roading towards my next city to be ready for when I get a settler in my possession?
I suppose I could also simply chop out a settler on my own, rather than wait for THH to make one for me...or I could chop out a worker...
EDIT: Or should I also make myself a Cottage somewhere....just realized that's also a viable option.

I would think that chopping out a worker would be the best idea, it looks THH will be making just settlers after hitting size 4 chopping out a few workers for him, seems like the best idea right now. Also make sure u don't grow that city into unhappiness.

Yeah, I'm keeping an eye on the unhappiness. That's why I'm timing it so I grow and build the Dog at the same time, since one of the unhappy is because there is no military defending the city. So with that being built, I'll be able to grow to size 4 without any trouble. And in 10 turns or so, the whipping unhappy will go away and the city can grow to size 5.

Courcelette has been founded. Note Polytheism has gone from two turns to three as a result. Nothing I can do about it on this end; maybe HAK can work a suboptimal tile to fix it, or we can leave it be.
Commodore hath moved his warrior close to us. I moved our newest warrior to guard against any mischief.
Our reconnaissance units have revealed the following:
Would you rather the scout move east along the bottom of the sea or northwest to find Commodore?
The innards of Verrieres Ridge:
Next turn it can give the sheep to Courcelette, work the wheat and grow with exact loaves, almost completing warrior or putting a turn into a granary, or it can carry on as it is, almost grow a size, and complete a warrior with exact hammers. I'd rather the former.
Courcelette (as if a first-turn city screen wasn't familiar):
Which city should each of the chops go into? I'm assuming settler next in Verrieres Ridge, by the way; correct me if I'm wrong.

That's a lot of overflow in verriers, which I'd put into a settler for the hammer bonus...
Am I too late?
Also what happens to Poly if you work the riverside grassland instead of the horse in Courcelette?

Just to clarify, you could have Verriers working three improved tiles and Cour working the sheep while the workers are building cottages and roads and settlers are coming out.
If you ended turn already and have started growing to size four then definitely carry on in that direction - bigger is better at this stage...
