Started on a worker switching to two forest tiles for 5 food and 5 hammers. Due in 9 turns.
Started on Calendar, due in 15 turns.
Funny C&D fact - not working any commerce tiles for now nicely obfuscates our GNP at 12. There's no way to tell from outside whether we get Calendar, AC or Crafting next.
Mackoti gained 11pts - tech. Agriculture or AC.
Sareln gained 11pts - tech. Agriculture or AC.
We should be able to tell for sure which one's which by watching crop demogs over next few turns.
And finally animals started to show up. Both pickets will be busy shortly.

Can I get an overview map?
Oh, I guess it's the same as the last one. I didn't realize your scout fortified there and not somewhere else.

You're right, there's not a lot more explored. With no huts / lairs and big map there's no real incentive to get out there with scouts.

I thought about it some more and I think AH before Education is still the way to go if we only build one worker (and I don't see a need for a second one). If we go RoK first then we won't get a second worker out before we can finish both. If we don't go RoK first then we can get AH before the settler finishes and see if there's horses anywhere nearby. Wouldn't want to accidentally settle on top of horses. I think a second farm would be better than an early cottage, if we're not going for RoK. We'll need the capital to build more settlers/workers for a while and the farm will help for that.

The griffon went somewhere else. The lion creeps closer.
Amelia got 11 points - tech.
Mr. Yellow got 11 points - tech.

I really want to see if there's a food resource west of the incense. Pairing the wheat with the silk and the cows with the sheep looks best.

Fog-gazing says more plains hills in the west, so at best we can get sheep. ( Unless Mardoc placed something out of tile there, but the map does not have artificial combinations thus far ). That would make for rather food deprived city. I'm also strongly against any possible wheat / silk location on the grounds of no significant production whatsoever. Blue dot has cows, it's own plains hill and can borrow plains hill from the capital. I'd leave sheep for a separate city, possibly planted where the picket is right now.
Still, we can push out a quick scout after the worker to go west and horses might require re-evaluation of the dots.

With academy it should give us more than competitive tech rate. We'll see how we stand after Mining.

Scout survived the lion. Got 2xp, took Guerilla and fortified again.
Warrior has a lion inbound.
Ravus got 11 points which means a tech. Agriculture or AC again.

Are you going to take Woodsman next? I was thinking you'd take Combat and then pick up Capture Beasts when we get AH. That's why I like AH sooner too. That scout can potentially survive a lot of animals if he can heal in between each of them.
