Very nice looking micro plan indeed! Do we finish the Oracle in there somewhere? :neenernee

I'll trust your judgement on the micro plan, nice work. What does it leave us with in terms of improvements, units and population?

EDIT: How about commencing a monument in the expansion instead of a warrior? Will we be able to complete the warrior before it starts decaying? We'll need culture there if we build the Oracle in the capital.

The plan leaves us with three warriors, and three workers, the capital is size 4 and can build a settler in 4 turns after it finishes the oracle. The capital has 6 improved tiles to work, although the second city development is rather stunted (I believe I can improve that but probably wont get around to writing it up until tuesday).

A Monument instead of the second warrior sounds good, I really just put warrior in as a placeholder. The first warrior I quite like as a garrisson unit and preventing our power rating looking toooooo crappy.

Is that 3 warriors including our explorer? Regardless, I think a monument would make sense. It decays slower than a warrior, and I think we'll be able to finish it. Should definitely prioritize developing the expansion some, since it'll be stuck with an engineer specialist. As long as it gets to hog the Corn, it should be okay.

How many forests do we chop in each location?

Three warriors total.
The second city can definitely complete one warrior, which I feel is a worthwhile investment. It is just the second warrior in the 2nd city which is incomplete, and could be switched out for a monument.

The second city can hog the corn provided the capital doesn't need it for growing, and the capital grows fast with the corn and two FP. The capital has really good production at this stage of the game so I figure we can just grow it to max size and leave it working the mines rather than slaving it down frequently.

1 forest was chopped in the capital, and three in the second city.

Today we founded our second city, we are third to found one after Sian and Kuro.
Unfortunately, we really should have scouted the area before settling, because after I settled the copper, corn and crabs were revealed.

Damn, that was some horrible luck. That makes for one ugly dotmap. I guess there's no way around this being a bad call on our part, we really shouldn't have settled into the black like this. Mea culpa frown To make matters worse, we would have had fresh water on that site too.

Yeah, that's a bummer. Are the crabs completely stranded?

One piece of good news, early MC and a forge are worth a lot (6k + 2k?) of power, so your power would by no means look crappy.

Yeah the crabs are completely stranded, and settling for the copper would mean wasting a fish as well. We do have copper in the floodplains, which we'll get online 3rd or 4th city (i'm pushing for third) so we should be ok defensively. The only threat would probably be a Xenu bowman rush, Sian doesn't even have BW yet (and horses are far away in the tundra), and Kuro's cities are both still at size 1 (I think).

One west would have been so much better as a city though frown.

How do we want to treat Dazed diplomatically? Personally I was thinking of an NAP until turn 40 to start off?

t40 NAP sounds good. I suggest offering him knowledge of the general shape of the world as a gesture of friendship.
